Really enjoyed "Ameroo Bay" Mike... some stunning holes & the detail you put into the dam was exceptional. Be really surprised if it doesn't go deep in the contest & / or we don't see it on the official tours. Well done - sit back, relax & let the good times roll.

Played Amaroo Bay last night Mike beautiful views really nice looking course, I love the dam area really great idea and it looks well. I this aimed at getting on the CC tours because I think it’s a bit tough for said tours but I am only an average player.

Wasn't disappointed Mike, this is a cracking track. Got one more round to play in the society gig then another six. 4 on tour and 2 in DbD lessangster this is perfect for CC-Pro. catcherman22

Played her from the tips, thought ot was an amazing design some tricky shots but the beauty of the course is what stood out the most. Five star added to favorites for this one, excellent job man. P.s did you do pictures on computer? I'm trying to figure out how to accomplish this on xbox but it's a pain One trick I learnt from someone here is that if you press the menu button, for a second the HUD disappears. In that second you can press the Xbox button and then take a screenshot in the normal way by pressing Y. Tricky at first but you soon get the hang of it. This works in the designer or while you are playtesting. The shots in my CC WIP thread are from XB1 using this technique.

Amaroo Bay Par: 723 Tees: White 6734, Blue 6977, Black 7203.Amaroo Bay is an 18 hole fictional golf course trying to emulate the various styles of terrain you might find in Australia. The course features stunning Ocean views then moves inland crossing over waterfalls and even a Dam. A lot of elevation changes are sure to keep the golfer on his toes, the greens have more of a subtle break that rewards good approach shots, it’s the getting to the green that can be difficult, good course management will reward the golfer with plenty of birdie opportunities and even a few eagle chances for the brave. Please enjoy my 5th course design. Amaroo Bay, my entry into the 2020 CC Design competition, all feedback welcomed both positive and negative. Playthrough recommendations: South or South East with Medium to High winds, North West & West can also be used but I wouldn’t recommend using more than Medium Winds, as a lot of the risk / reward opportunities would be removed from play on the par 5s. Default settings Amaroo Bay:Fairway Firmness - 0.9 Fairway Roll – 0.8 Rough Firmness - 0.7 Rough Roll - 0.6 Heavy Rough Firmness - 0.6 Heavy Rough Roll - 0.4 Green Firmness - Normal 0.61 Green Speed – 8.0 (174) Recommended tournament set-ups: Mike, I played this last night with Art Art Vandelay and Mark IGolfBad and really enjoyed it. Great views/scenery, excellent planting and a wide variety of holes make this an outstanding challenge. Keep up the good work.

Nice course man. Great elevation changes and “hero” type shots on this one. If you execute, you can go low and if you don’t, look out! I really like courses like that. The only knock I had on this one (and it’s a small one) is that I ended up in a “puddle” on #11 green. Everything else was awesome. This one will definitely be a contender! And, since I just can’t resist, damn that’s a nice dam!😂

wow just wow. Was part of my duties to play this course and I loved it, great to look at and played even better. After playing the coast holes I thought the best holes were over, I was wrong. I thought I’d cornered the design market for Dams but you’ve raised the bar. So then I came to leave a comment on completed courses and saw it was yours Mike - well done sir. It looks good on PS4 I imagine it looks even better on PC

Well mike, what an outstanding course you've given us all to have a swing on. Absolutely loved it and loved how you did the waste bunker look and the rest of the course. Will definitely be coming back to this one. Good luck in the contest, aussie, aussie.

I've been picking through the finalists and it was a great experience playing Amaroo Bay. It was refreshing to play a course that I didn't have this low horizon sun glare - this course stands on its own with any lighting!
I loved the use of elevation and the routing through the rocky ravine.
I took a '9' on #10 as I didn't clear the ravine twice and was out of bounds - my fault trying to be too aggressive.
Each hole was interesting and the planting/shaping was so seamless and perfect that it didn't get in the way of a great golf game.
I gave it 5 stars - which is rare. This is my top pick for the contest so far. Good luck and great job!
