Heeey, looks like I'll make a cut this week and lose a demotion mark. Shot -9 in both first and second rounds. Actually putted decently, which is what's been killing me lately. Had an awful 6 putt quad last week on the qualifying tournament and was tempted to uninstall the game, lol.

hmm...I generally don't play the last two rounds if I miss the cut (and I miss A LOT of cuts anymore), but I could make an exception for this. A couple extra rounds of the Euro Roller Coaster Tycoon won't kill me. I'll give it a go. @up mup kupen nup

And to demonstrate what I mean by "missed cuts are not taken into account", I voluntarily miss the cut this week. With two consecutive rounds of -7 (the first with two bogeys, the second with one), I would probably be done for the week when it comes to the official tournament.
But... (and here comes the twist) since this is irrelevant in the context of the cowhunt, I continued playing the remaining rounds as if nothing happened!
I managed to add two almost identical rounds of -6 to finish the week at -26, and it is precisely this four-round total that is taken into account for the cowhunt. I'm glad I could help.
Now over to my personal appreciation. Maybe I have a problem. There seems to be a slight discrepancy between the fact that I am actually pretty happy with my performance this week (difficult course and conditions) and the fact that the leaderboard apparently isn't happy with my performance this week (I'm outscored by most opponents). Ah well, maybe I just need a few weeks to get accustomed to these courses.

Ah well, maybe I just need a few weeks to get accustomed to these courses. I've been here some weeks now and I can confirm the courses are slightly more difficult but mainly the conditions are a step higher. In Korn ferry we sometimes had rounds with lower-medium winds, here it's almost always at least half a wind meter and often more. I'm slowly starting to get used to it 😂

Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen, the most recent Promo Event has propelled me from the Korn Ferry Tour to this place, where I spent the final weeks of TGC 2 a few years ago (ah, the memories). In KF, I found out that I wasn't happy with the fact that a tournament in the Pro Tours is over for anybody missing the cut. Hence, I came up with a humble little rivalry, namely The Hunt for The Golden Cowwhich runs during the time between two promo events, and which I intend to carry over with me to this flight. It is nothing special at all, and the rules are very basic. Participants simply play their usual EURO rounds and post the respective scores (no screenshots needed) in the weekly thread. Points are rewarded based on the total score after 4 rounds. Missed cuts are not taken into account in the sense that the score after four rounds is considered for everybody. The weekly winner receives [number of participants] points, then one point less for each subsequent finisher. Note that those who do not finish their four rounds get 0 points. If you happen to be interested, please confirm your participation in this thread (tag me maybe). All current EURO players and past Cow Hunters not deterred by the four extra rounds ( Art Vandelay , Crazy Croc , Friz , Giraffe72 , hmammoth , honeybadger64 , OldSouled , Koop , Riotous , and sattsjr ) are welcome! This sounds great, I’m in

New player coming from the promo event. Don't mind trying to go for this Golden Cow up mup kupen nup. Played my first round this morning and finished with a 8 under that should have been at least a 10 under (2 bogeys and a few barely missed putts. Including an eagle try on the 18th that I just missed a inch of break lol. I will have to score in round 2 as I can figure the cut should probably be around 18-20 under.

I rarely play rd's 3 + 4 as I usually miss the cut, running around 27% cuts made so far in Euro. So up mup kupen nup joining The Hunt for the Golden Cow should give me some incentive to finish them; count me in. Now I've just got to get out there and play thid week's rounds.

Interesting round 2. Started with a good birdie before making a bogey on 2 after a SW chip somehow didn't spin. Then on 3 I just decided to make a random 4-putt. Tried to fight back after that and got to -6 only. And there I am suddenly begging to make the cut at -16.

I know the feeling. 3 putt on the 1st and 2nd holes to be +2 to start the round but I battled back to get to -8 under for round 2 and -18 overall. Should make the cut in my first Euro Event.

Think I used all my luck up on round 1 cause I just can't get them close anymore or make puts, -7 round 3. The eagle on 18 was nice though.

Round 1 started nicely with a birdie on the first which I rarely do. Played a solid mostly mistake free golf with 10 birdies and no bogeys. Hit all but 2 greens in regulation...both being par 5 where I was on the 2nd and had roughly 20 yard chips that I blasted over and chunked short that led to stupid pars when it should have been easy birdies.
Round 2 was not so kind. Fell out of my groove and ended up with a -5. Now I’ll be sweating the cut line 🤦♂️
