Round 1: Started off like gang busters with 4 straight birdies then an eagle and 2 more birds on the front nine and I'm sitting pretty at -8, 2 more birdies and an eagle and were -12 after 13, of course the putts would stopping dropping over the last 5 hole and limped home managing only 1 more birdie. left 2 or 3 shots out there, but them is the breaks and I can't complain about my score.
R1: -13

The internet seems a bit less clogged up early in the morning so I headed out for Round 3. Five chirps on the first six holes and four pars meant it was deja vu all over again as I turned for home five under. The very fast greens are not best suited to my wayward putting and my normally accurate approach play went missing for a few holes. I'd only managed a lone birdie in seven holes when my tee shot found the rough. A 1-iron got close to the green and it was only as set up for the flop shot I realised that I was on my nemesis hole, the 14th. The flop went close enough to card my first par on this hole in the tournament.
Buoyed up with not dropping a shot there I chirped on the next three and the tee shot on the last decided not to roll down the slope behind the pin allowing me to par out for a clean card -9 for Round 3. It might not be enough as there are some of the par-5s that are particularly gettable but it will have to do and on any given Round 3 you are gonna win or you're gonna lose, it's all about those inches.

Strike whilst the iron is hot, no time like the present, don't put off until tomorrow what you can do today. With things going reasonably well I thought I would get the final round out of the way. Five birdies in the first six (only missing out on the driveable par-4 4th hole where I got a flier off the tee) and another chirp on the 8th saw a nice change of pace and, unusually for me, turned at -6.
Four more chirps including the damned 14th. This time I did have the right club in my bag for the approach and the 3ft birdie putt preshented no shignificant problemsh. Alas the run in saw a couple of putts slide by and a couple of approaches roll off the green. I ended Round 4 at -10 and the week at -36. On one of the par-5s I had hit the approach to about 15ft and fancied the putt for eagle. As I went to wipe my hands I nudged the controller and was given a 0" putt. I really hope that it won't prove too costly but in the white-hot battle in CC-A I suspect that may cost me an additional demo mark.

Maybe it's my recent birthday that has given me a more measured perspective on life, the universe and everything but in the grand scheme of things it won't be that error that costs me, rather the dozen or so putts inside 15ft that separates me from the good players.

That separates you from very good players maybe, but trust me your part of the good player group that's for sure.

2nd round action, conditions a lot more testing I thought in the 2nd round, started off pretty decent with a pair of bogies and pars, eagle on the 5th & birdie on the 6th and I was pretty damn happy, but 3 pars to finish the front 9 left me feeling that I needed a couple more, onto the back 9, back to back birdies was a nice start but only a par on the par 5 12 left a lot to desired, an eagle on 15 got me back into groove and 2 more birdies on 17 & 18 had me finish -12, pretty damn happy with that round overall.
R2: -12

Round 1 -12
That is a good score but oh boy I really did missed some further scoring opportunities in very easy conditions.
Round 2 -10
Another decent round with a couple of eagles on holes 1 & 15. I got hot during the middle of my round where I had 8 birdies in 10 holes. My only error was on the par 3 hole 7 where I had a double bogey.
I hit a very fast downswing off the tee and went for a swim left of the green. My drop area was back in the water (really HB) so I re-hit from the tee and proceeded to hit a fast downswing and missed the water by about 2 feet. I hit a poor chip shot but sunk the putt for a 5.
Hopefully these scores help my partner pablo if not #blamepablo comes into play

Round Two -10
Four under after twelve holes I then made an eagle and four birdies over the last six holes, shouldve been five birdies but I got a tad too aggresive with a five footer and sent it past the hole and down a small incline, luckily I holed the return for par, enjoying the course so far.

2K21 clubs have different attributes...… :o That is like in a way TW08, the last TW I played. The clubs, shafts, and balls had differences in distance accuracy, and spin, but you did not get to see the little sliders, you just had to experiment with them and figure it out. They were not huge differences, but clearly there. The balls seemed to have a larger changes in spin, especially.

2K21 clubs have different attributes...… They’ve gone down the path of TW I wonder how that’s going to work across the tours
