Someone please explain the scout cam shift to the right on approach shots to a washed up has been. Watched the last upload for a few holes, thought I saw what he was looking for, but then it didn’t make sense for the next couple of shots...what in the hell am I missing.

Yep should be good for a top 10, only 17 shots behind Vitaly Klitchsko, I have no doubts. Where does Vitaly stream? I’ve looked for him but can’t find it anywhere. No one seems to have issues with his scores and I assume there’s reason for that. I want to watch a true master at work. I'm just sceptical of anyone who can win events by the stretch and regularity that he does, not because of their habits, but because others before him have proved it all too possible to get away with.

He certainly likes banging the putts in. Must be nice to have p/p every shot.

Hes pans to the right to get a better idea of whats happening at the hole. To try and leave the easier putt

I also see this clearly. How many times the placement on the green is better (although more distant) with the terrain close to the plane / straight than close to full slopes. Too bad he doesn't publish during the tournament ... Too bad he plays at the end of the round. He must train exhaustively. With low wind, for those who are consistent, the error chance decreases a lot with practice. Hes pans to the right to get a better idea of whats happening at the hole. To try and leave the easier putt

Best consistency I've had in quite some time. Made just enough bad shots to keep me from really having a chance. Went for -45 . I would take that score for every tournament all season long. On to next week.

Happy and relieved to (presumably) make the cut on debut with 2 x -11's to start. Rd3 pins did me in a bit....-9. Rd4 mixed the good with the average and ended -10 for a -41 total. Without remembering the scorecards in detail, it felt like I parred a heap of par 5's. I have to think about my shots more when flopping and pitching off big slopey lies. Cheers and good luck all.

For those of us with scar tissue from several previous dominant but guilty (or exploit-using) parties, it's tough to give anyone with Vitaly-esque accomplishments the complete benefit of the doubt. Nothing personal to him, rather it's the remote nature of the league. Until we can all be in the same room during competition (with 2K more involved, anything is possible), or until players start aiming their streaming cameras at their controllers while streaming, then the doubts will continue to linger. Unfortunate but nature of the beast.

To be clear, my question wasn't one driven by skepticism at V's play being legit or anything, I'm honestly curious as to what he's getting out of that process. I guess it could be what Hippy said, but I don't see how going right every time, to every pin (at least what I watched) shows you the best angle, but we all have our quirks. I thought it was a read for wind direction to judge what was exactly down/into based on the wind vane movement while rotating the camera, but it didn't make sense on a couple of holes, so Idk...interesting tactic, would love to hear from the man himself if he's up for handing out some tips to us hackers.

Missed cut?I hope not!! I am sitting there as well! Missed 3 easy ones in the first round. After 17 holes i just wanted to pick up my ball and go home sitting at -4. Then i hit a nearly nice approach on the 18th and made a downhill 8-foot bender for eagle. That got me motivated for round 2. I missed one really makeable putt again - but other than that i played really good with a -11. So: -6 -11 -17 overall ..... for a cut made??? Rob?? P.S.: Probably two shots short but you never know. If I shoot a -16 your safe since I have a habit missing by one. Yep, you guys are safe.

Tied for the lead on the PS4 after the 2nd round, a round where where I a) shot very well ending up with a -16 for the round, but b) had a wonky swing. When I get nervous the wonky swing comes back. Was nervous because of what I felt was a mediocre 1st round, and thought I needed to shoot lights out in the 2nd to have a chance to compete. So it's a weird feeling, as I'm worried I could be pulled (I think Round 1 swing was decent though) but also very happy to be competing. Planning to post a montage of my 2nd round wonky swing at some point.

It's a little bit on what Hippy said. If I know I can't get it close to a tough pin...I'm looking for the easiest 10 to 40 footer in which I think I can make. But I mainly swivel to the right...to look at what the putting grid lines are doing at/near the surrounding hole location. I started doing it for when I was between clubs. Now I just do it by habit on every approach shot. I'm afraid it's nothing too revolutionary. Sorry.

Well I’m hoping -17 scrapes through to the weekend. Played R3 & R4 and finished tournament quite nicely. 🤞🏻
