Finished 60-65 - 43 under total.
R3 - started poorly then birdied 11 of the last 12.
R4 - More tempo issues in this round than the others combined. inc a slow-very slow flop from the greenside bunker at the last. Played the Par 5's awfully throughout actually (six or seven pars) which has probably cost me a Top 10
Not sure how this course found its way on to the PGA to be totally honest. Stupidly steep lies on every shot and pretty poor greens. Perfectly fair and set up ok, just not very good.

-11 R1, left a few out there. Putter has gone ice cold to match the weather last couple weeks.

Volunteer to be a ranger Jacko, then you can give feedback when a scheduler asks for it. You might get 5 courses/setups/greens that you actually like in a whole season then

R2 - 61, which was a good recovery after a random slow/very-slow flop on 2 that spun back to my feet, leading to a bogey.
R3 - 61, eagle on 18 but otherwise pretty nondescript, just too many putts.
R4 - 65, absolutely nothing dropping at the start of the final round with a lot of quality approaches.
-40 total. Might just sneak a top 25. Definitely need a new putter.

Nothing changes
I was equally as inept when I played the last two rounds anyway.....
We'll keep having our own 'medium player' PC battles to make a cut occasionally......can probably add vixenvikki to that battle most weeks too.
Can probably add me to that as well

So i could ranger it to death and find nothing illegal. Genuine apologies for any offence caused, but seriously don't see anything wrong with saying 'i didn't like this because x/y/z' Plenty of people will like it, and i'm not suggesting for one second that i could do better. Il must have missed the memo that said only spoke if spoken to, and only ever to say nice things, even if you don't believe them. 😐

Looking forward to seeing the first lap of number one. I imagine -17. I made a pair at 18. It could have been a bird or even an eagle. On the other hand, I did eagle on hole 5 by luck. It is rare to hit a flop. I think Vitaly is coming strong!

First official PGA rounds since TGC2 after promotion event! Definitely left strokes out there, two easy putts on 17 and 18 in round 2 that I didnt convert stand out due to the cut line, but got through two rounds at -20. Hopefully story of the week will be first made PGA cut for me

-8 round 1 -11 (?) round 2. Either 11 or 10... Anyway, hope that makes the cut.
Was off to a spectacularly average round 2. Then ran into the dreaded Heavy Rough bug in the middle of the fairway on #4 (you know, the 495 yard par 4, most difficult hole on the course). 72-80% lie dead middle of the fairway. 2nd shot plugs in the front bunker, but managed a par.
Really like the design with the sand and natural rocky landscape.

In at -49, should be good for a top 10, small chance at a top 5.
In the 2nd round I hit it kind of average and could hardly miss on purpose with the putter. In the 3rd round I hit it average and couldn't get anything to drop. 6 stroke difference between those two rounds. If that was the case, I must have missed 4 or 5 from 11-12 feet because it certainly didn't feel like I was putting good in that 10 foot range. I could have complaints about a couple holes on the course but mostly it was a good test, it requires a variety of shot making with both approach and short game. Glad we kept the greens on default speed I need to find a way to make my bad rounds a couple shots better if I want to take the next step and compete for wins instead of top 5s on my good weeks. The stats say I was 100% medium putting.

I’ve looked for him but can’t find it anywhere. No one seems to have issues with his scores and I assume there’s reason for that. I want to watch a true master at work.
