This is my entry for the CC Contest
Boreal Theme Yardage
White: 6754 Blue: 6882 Gold: 7196
I tried to create a CC course with difficulty for each CC style player in mind... I wanted to create an atmosphere of a natural environment with some nice angles into some of the shots and give you views of other holes across the course...Hope you enjoy it
Always any feedback appreciated.... Enjoyed working on this one, hope you enjoy it and hope it comes across well for the CC type players...
*Before I forget , its b101 fault I entered, he kept badgering me, calling me out, calling me sissy etc.... so I finally gave in... ha ha ha ha.... Thanks Ben for the push, I enjoyed working on this dog track
Good luck everyone... from what I have seen gonna be a bunch of beautiful tracks coming out

There you are, enjoying NC life in quarantine................and someone has gotta call you sissy. It's like rhino4life , Chief Banks or Giraffe72 calling me chicken for laying up on a super risk/some reward driveable par 4. We all have our trigger words lol Looks fantastic, can't wait to give it a test run.

Way to set the bar, Sir Jackwagon.
Played pin 1
Love this course, man.
The goods: That first hole with the kicker slope that fed the ball towards the pin was a fun shot, really rewarding when you hit it. The water as a visual hazard on 2 was dead nuts. Really liked how there was water everywhere but you really only had to challenge it 3? times (4,11,18). You used it well to create an atmosphere and gather miss-hits rather than using it as a crutch. Superb job. Back to the slopes, felt there were a bunch of times where you could play the slope and have the ball funnel to the hole (1,9,15,18 I'm sure there was more), that was a ton of fun. Number 12 with the sun off the water and that drive was orgasmic. Hit at the left bunker because I got an inadvertent fast and was holding my breath until the sloping kicked me back in the fairway. Crazy fun. That tree on the left side of 7 with a left pin, eff off. The next time someone asks me to play a beta and they have a blind tee shot that doesn't work, I'm pointing them to number 10. That was well executed. The way the bunkering was done to give you a guide was excellent. Also liked how 6 favored master clubs off the tee. Screw them pro club guys (I play beginners so don't @ me). I know I'm jumping around but there's so much to love about this course.
Questions: Don't take this the wrong way, I know you're way better at this than I am. The water on #3 seemed a bit of a puddle compared to the rest, why didn't you just connect it to the water left and right and put a bridge in? There was already one on the hole to the left. If I remember it was driveable so it would have made the layup a mid-iron but still a short enough approach to that green. Further right seemed to be a small hazard too. I get where courses put in culverts and create paths to avoid bridges over hazards that don't come in to play, which I think you really sold on 11, but it just bugged me there. And the second shot on 13 was a bit mundane with a headwind. It wasn't reachable so the second shot felt like a formality.
Anyway, sorry if I was long winded but this course is superb, everyone should play it. I was looking forward to it and was not disappointed.
PS I still don't care PSS I really didn't play it. These are all guesses.

Appreciate the words everyone...
Kenyon I totally get your comments about #3 I almost connected that water left and right but at the last minute I rerouted that hole and liked how the fairway turned out plus I nearly routed myself out of a way to use my cart paths (they were already there) and really just didnt want to take the time to re-route everything... Totally agree and get your thoughts there
13 was my least favorite hole of all, I just never felt like I got that one right... I liked the greensite but the hole is just a bit too long in a headwind to make that work like I wanted it too
Again thanks to all so far, I enjoy all comments even the constructive criticisms, cause I try to use them to get better... So keep em coming

Wow Terry! I liked this one a lot. You are very talented sir, even though you downplayed the quality of your course. This is far from "80th place" entry sir! Well done!

Pretty solid course overall, was a good one to cruise through for a stress-free -14.
Did notice some unfinished heavy rough brush work on the left side of 13, and the hole location on 17 I couldn't get a ball to stop within 18 feet putting and it was entirely yellow around it.
Other than that, would be happy to see it on our CC tour!
