I'd normally be happy with -8 but not when I'm -7 after 9 and then don't continue. Especially when you make a bogey on the last hole (par 5). That was my only slow swing of the round and it got me plugged in the bunker. Got it out on the light rough for a 160 3rd shot and made a bogey from there... So bad but happens I guess... I like the course though, lots of elevation and I have a weekness for the 'swiss' theme.

Just had my best round in a long long time in tour: -14 in R2. If I would have done anything good in R1 besides two eagles I may be near the top thru 2.

I had a miracle -7 round 2 though, closed with 5 birds in a row. Was a about to lose it until that.

Ended up with 64-65-65-65, don't think -15 is gonna make the cut this week. Honestly, I'm a bit surprised. I found this course pretty tough, though there are plenty of birdie opportunities.

Is this week a normal 4 round tournament or does it follow the Belgian knockout rules? I'm guessing normal tournament (although the Belgian knockout rules would be fun would be a lot of admin)... Anyway should make the cut - 19 after 2 rounds. (lost my 1 promo mark last week which I got the week before that)

Another -8 for round 2 and I'm guessing a missed cut. Doesn't help if you miss a 4-footer too. Just not good enough overall.

Played a practice round a few days ago and -14.....usually a good guide I'm going to play crap when the pressure goes on. Wasn't looking brilliant in Rd1 but finished with a bit of a flourish and posted -12. Eagle on 18 was handy. Rd2 was -9 with a decent finish except for a par 5 on the 18th. -21 at half way. I'll come back in a day or 2 and see if I can finish it off. Cheers and good luck

I think I shot -10 and -9; could be -9 and -10... Played well but man, I am an idiot; had two bogeys on par 5s and threw away 3 or 4 shots at least on just those two holes; one in each round. Then again, -19 should make the cut, so I now get to try and avoid a meltdown... again... probably won't avoid it but I'll have fun trying! Best wishes Frans

Played pretty well overall for the first 2 rounds and am cautiously optimistic that -18 gets me to the weekend but early scores looking like it could be close.
If it wasn’t for one damn hole I’d be sitting a lot better right now. Carelessly drove it into the water and double bogeyed it in round 1....you’d think I’d be more cautious, but no....drove right into the same spot in round 2 and walked away with a bogey. Other than that a clean scorecard on the other 17 holes so far.

Played a quick practice round on this course about 4 days ago and played very well. Maybe it was seeing all the low scores come in early but man did i just choke big time in the first round and finished with a -4. I just could not get an iron close to save my life and my putting was atrocious with 2 three putt bogeys and a missed 5 footer for a birdie. Can't play like that at this level. Missing the cut is almost assured now unless i put up a -14 or so in the 2nd. Now i just have to hope i don't finish last and get the fast track demotion

Round 2 might be the most polar opposite front and back 9 i have ever played in a tournament. After giving up hope of making the cut i started off great and was -8 through the front 9 and i'm thinking i have a shot...but then i bogeyed 10 for the 2nd straight day and it's like i forgot how to play and was sitting at -8 still at 17 when i put 2 approach shots into the water for a quad bogey and then lipped out my birdie on 18 for another -4. Embarrassing performance this week.

If I had my normal luck this week I'd be sitting with you. It happens. I even had an ace in round 2, not enough though lol

Mark me down as another who's strong start fell apart. Was -9 through 9 in round 3 and then hit a par streak on the back, finished at 11 under. Still a score to be happy about but with where I was at coming into the turn I was a bit disappointed.

Maybe it makes you feel better if I say that the 2nd 9 is harder than the front 9. 3 of the 4 hardest holes are on the back 9 and 3 of the 4 easiest holes are on the front

What are the odds -15 makes it? Been watching the leaderboard like a hawk lol. I forgot I hit 55% GIR and 50% fairways in round 2. I believe that included a chipin bogey on the par 5 2nd. Then five straight birdies to end the round. 20 putts . That's just an absurd way to play. I had an ace in round 3 or 4 so I'm hoping that counts for something.
