Hello Dirtbags, I hope everyone is doing well and preparing for another great season. I just published a new course. It is called Dylan Dunes and total yardage is 7039. Yes, I named it after my son. You know how that sibling rivalry stuff works lol. He said he wanted a Steppe (desert theme) because it reminded him of Star Wars. I just published it a few minutes ago so it may take a while to get to other platforms. This will probably be my last course for a while but we will see. Hi Wade great to hear from you I will give it a play hopefully tonight. Thanks Les, I tried to create the Las Vegas Desert feel. I'm not sure if I accomplished or not. Edit: I Christened the course.

#blamepablo!
Even though he had nothing to do with this. It was the best of times, it was the worst of times - life was easy and beautiful for round one even with the higher wind, and I was chasing Johnny and feelin' pret' good. Round two smacked me in the kisser from the get-go with a wet double on #2 and I made the turn at +2; it seemed like every approach shot just short of the pin stuck like glue in the fringe, or rolled 20 ft. past. Anything I thought would be close managed to roll off the side of the green into the fairway or rough. Ah well, wait til next week, ONWARD!

First of all, @sirwade59 I miss you buddy.
My second round found me doing the exact opposite of what I planned. Bombs away. 330-360 yard drives really mean nothing unless you are playing real golf but they are fun anyway in pixel golf. I played with Pablo's ghost(my new teammate). I think it will be an adventure when we are paired together. The only thing that sticks out in my round was the very fast swing I hit OB on 17 and hit it so deep into the forest, it was completely dark....a litte scary. Undaunted, I hit another from the tee, made the putt for a bogey.
Overall, I liked the course but I think I found almost every bad bounce the course can offer. Battled for a -3. No, I cannot #blamepablo, it was all Mr Bill.

Dirtbags I’ve re-released Seaton Carew after sorting the problems out, flattening tees and moving pins. I always say if you can’t get a job done do it yourself, Mike & Pat 😉.My course now has a lighthouse on it behind the 10th green it’s not there in real life but I’m using artist licence. It’s the same course as the Brabazon one I released before but just with the name Seaton Carew Lidar when the new game comes I can import it into that and republish as it’s proper name then. If you want to give it a play be my guest but only if you like links courses.

Given that since 2 months, I'm unable to create anything, I'm quite satisfied I completed the base routing of "Royal Kurland" with all the holes laid down, fairways, greens and bunkers. I've succeeded to keep to original routing except for the 18th where I came back to my very first project for this hole, making it even more challenging.
As always, my courses can't be flat, so I'm left with a huge elevation work as there are high cliffs left and front right of the picture below (this grey thing is the sea...). I'll be happy if I can release a test version before 2K21 (I pray for dry stone walls in this future release).

So you have to elevate the irregular green shape leaving the grey sea bit lower how do you even go about doing that.

I had some nice scores at IB Austin but my DbD rounds backed me to my usual worst play. How can I choke like this, each time there is a leader-board ? (I really don't care about at IB). Very slow syndrome is back again. I wanted to start again CC tourneys, but now I doubt it...
-3 / +4

I think I finished -11 second round I think of Pat Celtic Wolf as a Scottish Terrier every time I made a birdie he did, just when I thought I was forging ahead he got another birdie when I looked at the leaderboard. Managed to finally put some distance between us on 14 and finished quite strongly.

How many plays does a course need to get handicapped According to the pop-up it's 300 But it has to be 300 full 18 hole, stroke play plays - the course play counter also counts match play and 9 hole numbers, so it sometimes will take longer than you think to get handicapped.

Bishop Auckland is showing 350 plays will it just show up on the search when it hits handicap

Bishop Auckland is showing 350 plays will it just show up on the search when it hits handicap Yes...and it's usually the day after it achieves the minimum number of actual plays necessary, though i've seen it take longer when the HB hamsters are screwed up. Cycad Reach didn't get a hcp rating until nearly 800 plays, due to unspecified server issues.
