Can any of you dirtbag designers help.. a mate of mine has asked me if I can make a sign for a course I’m doing. He wants a sign with the letters BPGC on it he obviously thinks I can do it in metal letters because he doesn’t know how the designer works. I’ve seen people make them out of flowers but not metal or wooden parts. Experiment. Is it free standing or on a hill? I know the Hollywood sign on California Tour Club was made by stacking concession tents. Try sinking some sheds on a hill and use the roofs. Have to be creative but it can be done. I created a dinosaur skeleton on Roadrunner Mesa by strategically sinking rocks into a hillside. All sorts of things can be done, let your creative streak run wild. It’s only small about 5 by 4 feet not as big as the Hollywood sign Will have to see what I can do. This is it on the real course made with flowers. Google earth image but the guy recons it’s been replaced by a metal version.

Just gotta experiment.

Played 6 rounds in quick succession (DbD and IB) and never got bored...sign of just now much I love this course though I think I need to become a left hander. Nearly drowned this round (IB) and by the end I wished I Had (+3!!)

Played round 1....I liked the course but my course management sucked. Continually left pitch shots in and couldn't get close. Need to put the old driver up for the 2nd round on a lot of holes.
Good job on the design.

I played my first round tonight and was tired of chasing Pat for 14 holes every time I got a birdie he got one too, I never got closer than two shots from him. Then after the 14th I noticed he’d sh%$ the bed and dropped two shots i’m guessing on 17 is that right Pat? Managed to catch and go past by the 18th, your a hard man to catch Pat. I was lucky SOB on 17 myself hit the wall on the left but bounced forward of the back of the green and got it up and down for par.

Really enjoyed the course, but my play....
Rounds of -2 and -5 to confirm my mythical regularity

Unusually for me I walked to the first tee without any practice rounds. How hard can it be? I've seen it loads of times on TV. Well it was hard enough. It is a lovely recreation of a famous venue. The planting and sculpting of the fairways is excellent and despite the odd shot ending up off target and a couple of putts sliding by I was enjoying my round and marvelling at the inhuman performance of evilgrin72. The last hole caught me out for my only dropped shot of the two rounds. Just the 10 shots behind Johnny as I went straight into round two. Three under after 5 holes and 2015 Spieth-lookalike faltering I sensed blood. Unfortunately a rolling roadblock of pars to finish the front nine slowed my progress. I finished very strongly making seven birdies on the back nine, although maintained my record of never getting under par on any of the par-5s on either round. Sadly -14 was not enough, but a pleasant place to while away a bit of lockdown.

Hello Dirtbags, I hope everyone is doing well and preparing for another great season. I just published a new course. It is called Dylan Dunes and total yardage is 7039. Yes, I named it after my son. You know how that sibling rivalry stuff works lol. He said he wanted a Steppe (desert theme) because it reminded him of Star Wars. I just published it a few minutes ago so it may take a while to get to other platforms. This will probably be my last course for a while but we will see. Hi Wade great to hear from you I will give it a play hopefully tonight.
