I was in two minds about playing this week. I have 5 assignments due by Friday. Then over the weekend while picking up a hair band, I hurt my back. In my defence, hair bands can be tricky little suckers to trap hold off. Sitting in front of a computer all day the last few days was not a pleasant experience. But I have played every week since tgctours began, well except for one week when the event was cancelled because of weather. Yes a tgctours event was cancelled by weather. The event was using the winter theme but a bug caused the game to crash so it was cancelled. I decided to play, I wanted to keep my playing record going.
i hit the ball so poorly, sitting as still as possible to avoid back spasms, I had little control over my shots. I opened with three pars, two birdies followed but both were due to lucky bounces. I was living on the edge, and slipped off on the 8th, I lost control of my swing and a easy put went flying past the hole. I lipped out a eagle put on 11 but made a eagle on 12, I was inches from a ace on 13. I picked up 4 shots over those three holes but so close to picking up more. That’s was it for me, no more birdies for the rest of the round and to be honest, very lucky not to drop a couple more. -5 for round one, not a disaster but the focus now moves to avoiding a strike rather than missing the cut.

Halfway thru the Bovine Hunt, and I think it is just deplorable that a CC Dirtbag like me is ahead of some of you Posh Boys (you know who you are, so don't make me shame you honeybadger64 and Loftyando . Wait, I think I just did. Whoops) (EDIT: honeybadger64 is no longer in the KF but he is a very Posh fella)

-22 at the cut. To my complete surprise my wife got me a ps4 for our 4th year wedding anniversary. So this was my first tournament on the new console. Gotta admit it was pretty damn fun.

Tgc tours may not register my new username until next week. I thought if I changed my username before playing it counted but maybe not. No biggie. My ps4 username is OldSouled for any of those interested.

Looks like the Cut will be -15. Dan- since the Tour is operating at Max participants is there any chance that the Cut lines will be moved back to original Top 75 (vs current Top 65)? Asking for a friend that has missed the last 4 cuts by 1 stroke.

Thankfully this week I don't have to worry about the cut. -18 at the halfway point. Feels like this is a course that you can go on a run on at any point which I really like. Also is there a contest for most putts that lip out? I'm at 6 so far in 2 rounds so that has to be in the lead!
Good luck everyone! Great shooting Fris!

Two of the thread regulars in the hunt this week It looks like it didn’t count my score for this week since I switch my preferred console after being inserted into the tournament. I will play this one on Xbox as well and see what kind of damage I can do.

I really enjoyed this weeks venue for the Hunt for Yellow Bovine and my contest with Art for squatter's rights in the basement. More lips than a blind dentist and more than a few Brazilians. After a poor second round I improved slightly with a -3 including a couple of stops to retrieve balls from water. The final round was my only bogey free one of the week and ended up -8. None of these would be competitive but it's all about the fun for me. up mup kupen nup here's the evidence.

Hello KF peers - longtime TGC player/forum lurker. First-time poster.
Finally decided to start posting after I found out someone created two golf courses I've actually played before in real life... Hermitage GC and Riverdale Dunes. In the last 8 years my family has lived in Nashville (where you can visit Hermitage GC), Denver (where you can head up the road and play Riverdale Dunes) and now Atlanta.
Both courses are amazing and the designers did an amazing job on each. So, I have to plug their work.
On to this week's tourney - I was recently re-promoted back to KF after getting redmark dropped back to CC-A early in the season. Started coming up with a system of playing a practice round, making notes of what to avoid for each hole on a Google Spreadsheet and the best landing area for each pin. (I'm also making side notes about Par 3's: Go/Safe and Par 5's: 2-Shot/3-Shot that have seemed to work well for me)
Looking forward to contributing here hopefully surviving the rest of the season on KF.

Welcome to The Korn Ferry forum, always happy to see a someone new here. If you ever see a course you would think would suit The KF, send me a pm, I can’t guarantee it will be used, but I will take a look at it. A number of courses have been used on tour because of a recommendation.

-16 for me at the cut when playing on Xbox. My ps4 rounds were -11 and -11. My XB1 were -10 and -6. The 2nd XB1 round was all sorts of screwy. Had a very fast that was almost on the farthest line possible when I swung like normal. Had a bunch of very slow chips. Weird stuff. The connection icon was flashing half the round.

-20 at the cut for me. First round I probably left a few shots on the course. Knowing I'd need to step it up in the second I played with Friz's ghost and it helped quite a bit as I carded a -12. -20 after two. up mup kupen nup

After a hopeful round 1, round 2 was a very disappointing -1, no weekend golf for me. I was not ready to manage that wind after a break from the game, was way to dependent on knowing the wind speeds in practice rounds leading up to this event and it kicked my backside. Took the front 9 to get settled and that was still a +2 at the turn. Oh well, back to the range to get the feel back again. Good luck heading into the weekend everyone!
