This week on the Korn Ferry we welcome another designer making their tour debut, dave69 is proud to present Nadurra Valley Golf Club. Dave has been knocking at the tour course door for awhile now but got tired of waiting and decided to kick it in. Dave is from Scotland so there was a delay getting the course on tour as I had to learn to speak the language. It took a bit of time but I finally got there. So enjoy the course, good luck and have fun. Do you ever get the feeling you are missing something, that its staring you straight in the face but you just cant quite put your finger on it. Oh well, I am sure I will think of it later.

Oh my God, Oh my God, how could I have not seen it from the start, Oh my God, Dave69, he has 69 in his name. Give me one second guys, I need to confirm something, I am going to phone Daves house. A woman answered.
Me: Hi, can I speak Dave Please? Woman: Of course you can love, he is in his room playing, just let me call him Dave: Hello Me: Hi Dave, Dan from tgctours here, as you know we are playing your course on tour this week, I have a couple of questions if thats ok. Dave: Sure, go ahead. Me: As players arrive at the clubhouse to start the day, how to you feel about having a classical pianist playing to welcome them? Dave: Ha,Ha, he said penis. Me: Good, on top of that, I was thinking a fruit basket as a gift for all players, maybe with some kumquats . Dave: Ha ha ha ha. Me: The only issue with giving people food, is that we dont want them to disturb other players by masticating to loudly. Dave: Ha,ha ha ha, to loudly, imagine people doing that to loudly, Ha ha ha. Me: At least with fruit they will not masticate as loud as if they had meat in their mouths, Dave: Ha,Ha Ha,Ha,Ha,Ha,Ha Me: Ok, lets change topic, I am slightly concerned about the elevation on the course, there are players on tour that have acute angina, do you think the hills will affect them? Dave: Ha,Ha,Ha, stop, your killing me. Me: As you know, it rains a lot around Nadurra, is there a contingency play if the foliage gets moist Dave:Moist, do you mean wet? Me: Ha,Ha,Ha,Ha, he said wet foliage, Dave: I dont understand Me:Never mind Dave, thanks for your time, I am looking forward to playing your course on tour, bye
That confirms it, how could I have missed it. Ladies and gentlemen, its a new first for the Korn Ferry, the youngest ever course designer tgctours, please welcome 12 year old Dave69

Lovely course again this week! Interesting layout, absolute joy to play dave69Played 2 rounds, sitting at -17 (10 and 7) for the cut. I hope it is enough - hard to tell this early on with just about no other names on the Steam leader board yet. I felt I let few shots slip on the greens - just two or 3 more opportunities gone begging with the putter than the few good ones that did drop. Good luck all

I played this course by chance about a month ago, instantly favorited it. Great course.
Jumped into rounds early this morning, and I'm going to be keeping an eye on the very top of the leaderboard this week. All I'll say now is if I don't win, I'm going to be looking back at my third round and really question why I didn't take a break. But, I can also leave you all with this gem from the fourth

Sheesh, horror show! I can't put my finger on it. I'm playing pretty solid in my other society, and had a couple of great weeks in our Friday night alt shot where I don't think I've missed a fairway in two weeks, and then I play whichever nice TGCT course has been selected and it all goes to pot. You have to make things happen to do well at this level. Get dialled in with your approaches, hole a few 20 footers, maybe a chip in here and there. First round I played well but made nothing happen, every approach seemed to just get away, every putt seemed to burn the edge, every chip just rolled past. Only had to make one save in the entire round, bogey free but not nearly enough birds. Second round started great. Eagled the first par 5 and was -4 thru 5. Had a tiddler of a downhill putt to go to -5 on the 6th, pushed it 10 feet past and missed the return, good start ruined. Normal service from round 1 was then resumed and I struggled to pick up shots but didn't lose any, until I got to 16. Two VFs off the tee in to the water, first one I maybe got in to a little quickly, maybe, but the second one was utter bs. Sigh, Xbox joy. Another short missed putt on 18 rubbed salt in the wound, lucky I'd given up caring. No lag issues, lovely course, I'm just not feeling it at the moment. 64 and 69 for -7 at the cut. One strike or two? Good luck hmammoth, we're all rooting for you to clear a strike, brilliant write up again!

Birdie putt on 18 was right at the hole, then next thing I know it's on the other side of the hole and I cant figure out where it missed. Best overall round on tour I've played. Distances were dialed in, putts were perfect (except 18 I guess), swings were straight and didnt have a single tempo issue.

Going into this week just trying to keep the line in the dam cone. I’ve changed the way I hold the stick and its Definitely been an improvement. -8 round 1, left 3 putts on line but just short of the hole, no bogies. Happy with that -8 round 2, tougher conditions but played well for the most part, 1 bogey and a missed birdie putt on 18 that must be one of the worst miss-reads ever. Will be around the cut line I guess.
Just started a twitch channel if anyone is ever around to say hi.. riotous_1
Rooting for you hmammoth

I think Friz is on to something here playing early... I've been playing a lot of rounds lately in different societies, and the closer I get to the deadlines, the more issues I seem to have with lag/ tempo. I'm on fire for the Societies I play 1st day, and struggle mightily on the ones I wait until the last minute. Screams HB server issues! #CaptainObvious Will be getting my KF rounds in today.
ETA- further research 1. In large Society with a bunch of PGA and Euro guys- avg finish when I Play 1st day- 14th, avg finish when I play at the deadline- 44th. 2. KF missed last 2 cuts playing rounds at the Thursday cutoff.

Hi guys, I have -7, -8, -5, and -7 for a total score of -27. Not happy with my game recently. I miss many putts, especially in close range (around 5-7 ft).

I took a bit of a hiatus from the tours, feels good to be back though. -7 for my first round back. Putting is on point right now but I put a ball into the water on 9 that lead to a triple. Need to tighten a few things up. Really liked the course too.

Rd1- -9. excellent tempo save for one shot where I tried to hit Fast but hit perfect and it bounced off edge of FW into the water. took a Dbl Bog, which was esp painful when Friz ghost holed his approach for a 4 shot difference. Shout out to Friz as that R1 may have been the most magical sell your soul to the devil round ever- 3 eagles, holing long approaches and 2 miles worth of dropped putts! Rd2- -5. Buzzard's luck- 3 balls stopping on yellow slopes when they should funnel back to hole, 3 lip outs. Didn't make a putt, but tempo was good.
-14 at the cut, which means cut line will be -15. ETA: R3 -8, R4 -7 (-29 total) Awesome tempo- I've never hit so many good shots that ended up in bad places.

After my demotion I just play these rounds for fun and the Battle for the Basement with Art in the Hunt for the Golden Cow, so it is great to have a good looking course that is fun to play. It offers reward and punishment in equal amount. I love the way this game always manages to kick me in the nuts whenever I think I might be getting to grips with it. An opening round of -9 without too many problems was followed up with a +1 round for -8 at the halfway stage up mup kupen nup . All of my travails on the second round were down to me and not the fault of the course, designer, scheduler or COVID-19 cabin fever.

Sitting at -15 after and will be cut watching. The course is definitely scoreable, but I just couldn’t seem to figure out the green rolls on approaches. And my normal putting method wasn’t as accurate as needed. So lots of burned edges. Ah well.
Edit: It took awhile, but slipped below the cut line last night. Next week them.
