Played it again last night. Definitely one of my all-time favourite courses in the game. For me, up there with the likes of Black Mingo Creek and suchlike. Playing it again, it looks like every plant, every rock, and every minute detail has been done with care. Nothing just randomly plopped down any old place.

Man, this is just incredible. Power to you from India! Have you made any other courses? Or do you reccomend any other top notch courses like this? We play this all the time!

You rock sir! maabhen - Thank you! Power to you too! I dig that phrase, very positive. I have two other designs for TGC 2019. Toby's Rock & Aristea Skies. I will hit you up with a PM with a list of my personal favorite/inspiring courses out there.

lukesca - At first glance, I thought that was a compliment. Then, I read your comment in the Jackwagon society message board, and realized you were pretty upset by the retaining walls and OB. I hear you. It was an artistic choice that didn't play as well as I had hoped. I put the OB in them because during my playtesting, the ball would sometimes bounce around and strangely get stuck "inside" the wall, and would take 3-4 strokes just to get out and far enough away to have a shot at the greens/fairway. I am ok with having the player hitting one shot to the left or right, away from the wall, to get a better shot at the green, but adding the OB prevented the "stuck" issue from happening. Now, I am starting to realize that when it comes to OB, it's almost impossible to make everybody happy, and everybody has their justifications for the presence or lack of OB in certain areas. My new approach to this is to lessen the amount of retaining walls that are directly in the natural line of play for a hole, unless they are between a playing surface (green/fairway) and a forced drop hazard (water). I had my fun putting them everywhere on Lulu Lagoon and Toby's Rock, and plan to take a more reserved use of them on future designs, similar to Lake Lyla. I'm sorry they detracted from your experience while playing Lulu Lagoon. It was only my second design for this game, and I am learning ways to improve future designs based on flaws like the one you have pointed out.

lukesca - All good man. You had a valid complaint about an issue effecting the play of my course. I agree with the statements, and do not hold a grudge for the wording you chose to express it on the Jackwagon board. I've honestly had much worse things said about my courses over the years, especially when I first started designing back in the Jack Nicklaus 5 days. I appreciate your support and comments. If my course was total garbage, you probably wouldn't have taken the time to comment on the issue!
