I feel your pain Bradley. I can't even get a straight back-swing any longer. Good grief. -16 after two...see ya next week. Similar problem. I can pull back straight, but recently have this problem where it looks like I pull left at the bottom prior to going up. This never used to happen. So I get a lot of swings that go angled some left to right (in the cone, but just bad swings) or I’ll just stay on the blue left the whole way. It’s really hard to correct, I’m always trying things during a round like angling my thumb or the controller differently. Sometimes I find it, other times I don’t. There’s been rounds where I have to pull back on a ridiculous angle to the right just to get a straighter downswing, but that’s a very uncomfortable feeling. Don’t even get me started on putting...doing math would be pointless....I can’t even putt straight 😂 I stand over putts nervously that others would just blast in.

theduke21 I'm a big fan of math putting, at least when I'm not playing with friends online (otherwise takes too long). What system did you find out a few months ago? I've never liked the click system as I feel it's very inaccurate. LOTS of guys use it. I know Tim, TGCT founder is a click putter. To each their own though. I'm honestly not even sure what different systems there are. The one I found out a couple months ago was the one made popular by hippystein that zooms into the grid boxes and estimates the length of the lines and does clicks from there. I don't know of anything else. I just find the elevation and get my market to a number I like for the putt and use feel for the break.

This sounds exactly like me atm I really never feel settled over a shot and find it so difficult to find the middle on the backswing. If I pull the stick straight back in my mind then it will always be to the left; so I have to pull the stick back at what feels like 5 o'clock. If you can't find the middle on the backswing then it's so difficult to get a shot to fly straight, even if you correct it on the through swing. Having said that; I played in the casuals society yesterday and employed a new technique of gripping my controller really firmly, and to the right of where I usually do. It was like night and day to how I have been playing recently: I holed out from the fairway twice, hit some amazing approaches, made putt after putt and shot some ridiculous score for three rounds. I have also adjusted where I put the marker for uphill putts to make some more aggressive attempts. No clicking for me either on the putts, but I do get the worm cam out because of the lying beads and sneaky designers that try to trick you up with false breaks. Hopefully I can replicate that swing today and it wasn't just a one off. I was listening to some 90's house music at the time, maybe I was just in rhythm with the music and finding my flow

Good thing about putting is its personal to individual. Whether you click or guess or feel. Ultimately i use all three. You have to! the counting lines gives you an idea of the break to play but the feel and look of the putt determine where to play putt. All the pros have green grids done professionally which they add there own adjustments too. And there are many different ways to do it. A friend of mine doesnt click but uses the maths to give them a peak curve to find optimum break then adjusts accordingly depending on pace. I do that too whilst playing tst. Im newish to tst and like the challenge but am struggling on the straighter putts. Where little movement is visable. (Im open to tips on there tst method) Maths is everywhere tho. Whether you count it or just use visable calculations your using maths. Pace is key in tgc as is in real life. More chance of it going in if pace is good. Stay safe all!!!

I hate putting without beads, tried true sim and just can’t read putts without them. What would be good in my opinion, is a short preview, so nothing showing at all when you have a putt, you press a button and get to see all the relevant beads (not a putt preview) for a very short time then they’re gone. You then can’t use preview again until you have made putt. I don’t mind putting as is, one of the best parts of the game for me. Just my thoughts at 0100hrs, maybe I just need to sleep 💤 Nice Job Nick! Btw some good ideas on the putting... I echo this idea from Kenny of having the short preview and then it disappears, this way you get the idea and are left to your own devices from there. This quote should be sent to HB b/c it is the perfect middle ground and wont make the player nauseous trying to figure out the general direction...

I think you would see scores a bit more realistic with this implemented.
