63-61 for -20 through two. Still fighting the swing but a vast improvement on last week. Should make the cut.
Which is why i can say what i am about to say without any sour grapes whatsoever.
These are amongst the worst greens we've played this season. Especially at max speed. Which is a shame because i'm a fan of the layout.
But, can anyone explain the 9th green to me?

QFT
Tee to green - decent track Green complexes - dismal. Always love the 200+ yard approaches into a green which runs away, and then dives steeply off the back about 6ft behind the pin......hit a perfect shot, run 2ft past the hole - oh look, I've got a 15yd chip up a mountain next......
And all the multi breaking 10ft putts due to every f**ing pin being on the top of a bloody mound. And repeated yellows in the box (must be 10-12 greens over the event)....
2 and out for me - terrible tempo BS throughout to add to the above.

Oh dear. Going by the early comments it sounds like this would be a good week to sit it out. 🤔

I believe you're playing with a medium left to right wind to this pin, which will help slow it down. Anything else you need help with?

That push out of the cone was not intentional, nor do I have the consistency to hit the same swing twice. The next one looked like a checkmark I'm sure.

I’m not sure why the green speeds are at 187. I had them entered for fast-fast-default-fast on my document. I think they run nicely at the fast default speed.

There's two 187 rounds and two 163's

Finished 67-61 for -36.
Started R3 well in those brutal conditions but then got on the par train and bogied 18
R4 was ok. Holed out @ 12 but then threw the shot away parring 13. Then hit a rubbish wedge to 15. Birdied the final three though.
Should be a mid table finish

-20 (-12,-8) through 2 rounds. Sat at -17 in round two from 11-16 wanting to at least get to -20 to feel a bit safer about making the cut after missing by a combined 5 strokes the last 3 tourneys with a cut. Birdied 17 and jarred one from 130 on 18 to get to -20. Fingers crossed that shot was enough to make it.

Gotcha. I haven’t played, but there should be three 163’s from what I entered, so not sure what happened there. The 1 round I put 187 was what I felt like were the tamest pins and could handle 187 but I wanted 163 everywhere else. They should still be legal 9 box wise outside of backstops but they definitely will be quite slick.
