The Vineyard Club is my entry into the CC Design Contest. The Vineyard Club is a fictional course set in beautiful Edgartown, MA. (a town on the island of Martha's Vineyard)

This will be a template course as a tribute to my favorite golf course architect, Seth Raynor.

The course is as follows:
#1 Plateau - 441 yards
#2 Punchbowl - 421 yards
#3 Eden - 176 yards
#4 Leven - 447 yards
#5 Narrows - 478 yards
#6 Biarritz - 229 yards
#7 Maiden - 458 yards
#8 Cape - 484 yards
#9 Long - 607 yards
#10 Alps - 411 yards
#11 Reverse Redan - 203 yards
#12 Road - 476 yards
#13 Prize Dogleg - 427 yards
#14 Double Plateau - 448 yards
#15 Lido - 572 yards
#16 Lions Mouth - 458 yards
#17 Short 162 yards
#18 Home - 490 yards

The course is a Par 70 playing at 7,388 yards and is intended to be a championship test of golf.

#1 - Plateau

Options off the tee on the opening hole, pull driver and you better accurate navigating the fairway bunkers. The reward is a short iron or wedge into a difficult green. Choose a long iron or fairway wood and your left with a mid iron approach. As the name would suggest, this is a two tier green. Miss the right tier and good luck making par. The bailout play is right, miss left and you'll find yourself with a difficult bunker shot

#2 - Punchbowl

As with the first hole, there are options off the tee. Driver requires a more accurate shot with the reward being a wedge or long pitch into the punchbowl green. A shorter club gives you more room to work with with a 9-iron or wedge approach.
