Let me get this started so I can let everyone know that I had to flop on the first green. After a decent approach slow rolled to 115ft away and up a tier, I tried max putter and the ball ended back up at my feet. Then I proceeded to do the same with the flop before my second flop stuck above the tier and I putted it in for a double bogey.
That first putt from the bottom right edge of the green is marginal if you can putt or not, so maybe I can prevent (or start?) a debate if a chip is allowed. My experience was yes that chipping was the only way to actually have a chance to get up to the hole.
Recovered to a -8 in R1 including an ace on the last par3.

Jeez I'm really just not cut out for this tour right now. I think I took too much time off. My highlight this week was making a double and then a bogey 2 holes in a row in round 2 and bouncing back the next three holes with an eagle and two birds. -5 round 1 and -6 round 2. Bleh, cya next week.
As frustrated as I am, going from -1 to +2 in two holes is gut wrenching. I stuck it through like a champ and posted posted a dignified number. My game is there, just lacking consistency. Not feeling comfortable at all over any shot; I hit perfect tempo maybe 65% of my shots. Impossible to shoot what I need to shoot with that percentage. When I fix that, my scores will probably be three or four shots lower each round. Given my scoring has been incredibly consistent each round, this makes me pretty optimistic. Just gotta work on that tempo! Need to play more is all.
I'm cool with chipping on the green if the context allows for it to be honest. It's pretty obvious when it is abuse vs necessity
Beautiful course by the way! Best of luck to everyone else. There's gonna be some low scores this week.

Knocked out my rounds last night. -9 -10 -10 -13 for a -42 total. Hopefully sets a mark for others to chase. I think it'll be 5-7 shots short of a win but maybe a green mark if the high winds trick people up. Left a few straightish med length putts out there but did hole quite a few sideway sliders in that 8-15 range that could've gone either way. Pretty happy with my final result after a couple of beers and wines. Cheers

Off to a hot start this week. Nearly holed my 3i approach on 1 and it flowed from there. Missed two putts inside 9ft on 9 and 18 but otherwise had a lot of easy tap-ins for a -13.
Second round sunk a 19fter from the fringe behind the pin on one and made a lot of putts I shouldn’t have including a 45fter on the back 9. Didn’t hit it quite as well but finished round 2 w/ -14 for -27 total after 2 rounds.

Seems like we were playing two totally different courses. Good shooting nonetheless though, I think you may be onto a winner this week.

Double bogey on the very first hole, +1 at the turn, -6 after 17 only to make another bogey... Second not much better with another bogey on the last for -6
-11, missed cut, feeling my putting is simply not good enough for this tour
Then again, I will not give up and try again next week!!! 😂😂😂
Best wishes Frans

-5 first round, started with a bogey and had some troubles with the wind. +2 after 6. Then fought back to even at the turn and shot a good -5 on the back.
Round 2 alot more solid, also easier conditions. Even though the 2 bogeys where unnecessary I made alot of birdies and an eagle for a -9 and -14 after 2. Hopefully it makes the cut good luck everyone.

Quite the adventure of a first round. Started off with a chip-in birdie on one, followed by a sh%$ ton of pars, a bogey on a par 5 and one more birdie for -1. Second nine started off with a hole out 6-iron for eagle, and finished with a chip-in birdie at 18 for an -8 back and -9 total.
Second round was much more run of the mill with solid play until not carrying a 5-iron in the bag bit me on back to back holes. Had a weird number in on the par 3 16th that led to a 70 something foot putt up-hill, from the wrong level (3-putt bogey) and then another odd number in on the par 4 17th that led to a 90 something foot up-hill putt from the wrong level... got lucky on the last a saved par. Ended up with -8 round that felt like it could've been a lot lower.
-17 at the cut and feeling pretty comfortable that I'll see the weekend.

Started the first round with a 3 putt bogey and followed that up with 3-4 relatively easy birdie putts that slid by or were 1/2 a rotation short and thought here i go again with another MC. Finally got on a good run late on the front and into the back and finished -8. Followed that up with another solid outing and was -9 through 16 and then hit what i thought was an excellent approach shot on 17 but it ended up just inches short and didn't bounce hard enough on the hill and rolled back 50 feet and resulted in another 3 putt bogey to finish -8 for -16 at the cut. I am cautiously optimistic that makes it in. Finally starting to play a little more like myself...not where i want to be and left 4-5 birdies out there both rounds but overall an improvement over the last several tournaments where i averaged over 30 putts a round and missing 5 straight cuts.

In a putting funk. 31 putts in round 1, 24 in round 2. Sitting currently on the cut line, but not so sure I'll quite make it once the rest of the scores post.

Didn’t play very well in round 1 and was at +1 through the first ten holes. Finally something clicked and I went on a run of birdies, ending at -5.
Second round went well, much more consistency...closed out at -10.
-15 should get me into the weekend, good luck to you all.

Finished up rounds 3 and 4 today in case i make the weekend. Had a nice birdie to start the round and then missed several easy birdie putts under 10 feet. Straightish puts that i read too much break in and just didn't convert. Managed to get to -4 through 8 before i hit a big lull with my putting again and finished at -6 for round 3. I was pretty dialed in on my irons and left myself so many shorter putts than the first 2 rounds but they were always sideways with lots of break and just couldn't get dialed in.
Round 4 I got hot quick and was -6 through the first 8 and then i got interrupted by one of the kids for a few minutes and came back and all momentum was lost. Finished up -8 after a couple of stupid bogey's on the back.
What a weird week...every round i felt like i should have been double digit under par and instead i didn't get to double digits one time. Shot -8, -8, -6, -8 for a -30 total.

Started off with six straight pars before a birdie on 7. Then I overshot the 8th green on my second shot and was basically forced to chip it over the green and settle for par. Drive on 9 was about 2 feet short of clearing the bunker, second shot went in the next bunker, but I managed to par. Fast downswing on my approach on 10 meant another par. Put my tee shot on 11 to 9 feet and 3-putted for bogey. Birdied 4 of the next 5, then lipped out a 6 foot birdie on 17. Birdied 18 to finish at -5 for the round with a 66. Started the second round by badly missing a 12 foot birdie on 1. Birdied 2 then just barely caught the hill on the green on 3 and rolled all the way off the front. Fast downswing sent the flop 19 feet long, then I missed the putt, it went down the hill, and went all the way off the green again to the same spot I was in after my second shot. Ended up with a double bogey. Fourth hole, I pulled my tee shot right, stopped before the water but my flop was short of the green and I bogeyed to go to +2. At that point I'd basically have to go at least -10 over the last 14 holes (assuming -12 ends up getting cut), maybe -11, to make the cut. Birdied 5 and 6 to get back to even but pulled my drive on 7 into the rough and had to settle for par. Birdied 8 and was -1 through 9, needing to go -7 at least on the back 9. Birdied 10 and 11 but left my flop on 12 short and missed a 17 foot birdie. On 13 I missed a 31 footer then hit the par putt too hard and went right over the hole. Just missed a birdie chip on 14, then lipped out an 8 foot par, which ended my chances of making the cut. For good measure I 3-putted for bogey on 16 from like 18 feet. Finished the round 1 under.
Much much worse second round despite the easier conditions, mostly because of bad putting and a few terrible flops. 1 bogey in the first round, 4 and a double in the second.
