Got the opening 2 rounds in. Winds are pretty high in Round 1 around 15 MPH all round and played well to shoot a -12. Round 2 winds are a little lower. Birdied every hole but one par 5 on the back 9 and missed that by a whisker. -29 though 2. Will see where that shakes out.

Unless he doesn't play at all I'll assume my three week streak of beating yaters in round 1 will end. Only managed a -5 to start the week.

Rd 1 -10, I started off well, then went for the green in 2 on a par 5 and went splash - which was odd as I had a 15mph wind behind and like 8-10y of additional carry. Made a great par putt. After that I lost my flow.

Good -14 round 1. Blah -14 round 2. I have a mental block with 144 greens for some reason. Missed three 6-10 footers reading too much or too little break.
I’ll finish up later this week.
-17 second round is well played Tim. Conditions were easier but some of the pin placements weren’t. Not sure I can chase you down this week. Could this be your trophy week on BCT?!!

I missed too many putts in Rd 2 and Rd 3, I think I've missed 1 GIR for the first 3 rounds. I think I'm -37/38. I agree John, get slightly out of position on the greens and putting is difficult.

Second round just felt like I never really got anything rolling but still ended up at -10 which is acceptable by my standards.

Imagine a baby with just a diaper on, dirty, with disheveled hair. The baby is dirty because they are sitting in a sand trap playing. Sand on their arms and legs, sand on their face, sand in their hair. But the baby is happy and giggling because the sand is fun. Now imagine that baby digs through the sand and finds an old piece of dog crap. What’s this they think? It’s new and looks like fun! The baby then puts that old crusty turd In their mouth. In a micro-second all the fun of the sand trap is gone. The baby just ate sh%$.
That’s kind of how my last two rounds went. Nothing terrible. I had fun. But I put the turd in my mouth in the end.
-13, -10 to finish -51 total.

My third round was actually not too bad. More often than not I was on the green with a fairly decent length birdie putt. Not many that were straightish or incredibly easy, but still makeable. Really only remember one shot that could be called a mistake and I still recovered for a par. Ended the day at -11.

May as well call this the "Lest I forget memorial". 3 rounds of -9 so far.

Final round of -10 for -37, probably a top 20.
Did get my first BCT hole in one though

Hi Guys, I'm completely new to all of this so i hope don't offend anyone on here. It was my assumption that the BCT was for beginners, but I see a lot of players at the top of the leader board have won various PGA tour trophies in the past and have been playing for a number of years. Have i got the premise wrong?
Again, not my intention to offend anyone, i just want to understand each of the tours properly.

The BCT is for players using beginner clubs of any standard. It's more of an arcade style of play. The "Pro" tours use master clubs only and the 2 CC classes have a total of 8 divisions where you can use either master or pro clubs. Hope that helps, the main site probably explains it better under the info, rules and policy section of the general info tab.
