Happy Easter everyone, this weeks course by acesgalore is shorter than what we usually play here on The KF but that does not mean you are in for a easy ride. Course management and shot shaping is the name of the game here. You can score well here, it is not overly difficult but like all courses by Chris, it can throw up a surprise or two. Anytime I have used a course by Chris, there has been one or two holes that catch people out, I wonder what will be the nasty surprise this week. WTF, I just noticed something, Chris has published five courses, I have used every single one of them on tour. There is shenanigans going on here, how can one designer have me use all of his courses on tour. I checked my blackmail files, he did not get on tour by having something dirty on me. On a side note, its amazing how many courses get on tour through blackmail, I really should be more careful. I checked my bribery files, and he is not in there at all, which is disgraceful, I mean what’s the point putting a course on tour unless I get something out of it. There can be only one answer and that is that Chris Hall is a witch. I should have known really, all the signs were there. The naked dancing by moonlight on the 9th green, the black bird like creature that accompanies him everywhere, when he shouted I'll get you my pretty, and your little dog, too at a strange looking girl who was following a yellow brick road. How did I not notice those signs before, I most be under a spell. Dammit, this is the last thing I need. Now I have to spend time going through the entire schedulers mansion looking for some sort of cursed item that hold me me in thrall, it could be anything, it could be anything. Oh well, I’ll do that after I take Black Phillip for a walk, if nothing else, I got a cool goat out of it, good luck and have fun.

Its Master clubs time! Round 1, did not have many off tempo swings, but made a double on 9 after I confused myself out of a bunker and somehow played a pw pitch instead of a lw flop. Was sitting on -6 at the time I teed off on 9, bit disappointing to finish up at that score eventually. Round 2, still getting good tempos mostly, scored enjoyable -12 -18 at the cut, no idea if it will be enough. Soldiered on seeing as the tempo gods were rooting for me and did not want to miss out on this rare but enjoyable occurrence Round 3, pffft, I guess the tempo gods got pinged for flaunting the lockdown rules, they had to go and explain their anti social behavior to the cops and was left all on my own. Fkin nightmare. So frustrating using my brains for a change, laying up to full wedge distances, and BAM, fast or slow downswing on the approach. Had no luck with the flat stick either, gawd, the off tempo shots had me generally either missing the greens or on but miles away. And then the only putts not lipping out from 30+ feet are those ones that come up 2 inches short - right in the mouth of the hole of course. Can't recall my score but was not a lot under par. Round 4, decided to go balls out could not give a hoot where or what I scored. Took driver off the 1st, hopped, skipped and threaded through the bunker maze and made a flop n putt birdie. Go figure. Got to the 6th, been eyeing that short cut since the 1st round but never took it. This time it was fair game Golly goodness, had that one dropped i'd prolly have lost it completely Scored -31 for the tourney Very nice course. Enjoyed my 1st 2 rounds. Good luck all

Just felt like I was fighting myself all night. -8 in R1 then a garbage -5. Can’t see -13 making the cut so onto next week. Nice course.

Etiquette for normal golf is to drop the ball no closer to the hole if it lands on the green of a different hole, is that what Pro’s do too ?

Would make for a good laugh though. And prompts for free drinks at the 19th too I imagine In game - Youtube for sure. And hopefully a free drop somewhere close by.

In real life - you'd get a free drop off the green, no nearer the hole. No different for pros - just the rules of golf.
In game (assuming it is still the same (BS) as TGC2) - it counts it as OOB and you have to re-hit the previous shot, with a shot penalty (so '3 off the tee'). Daft - but that's HB

hehe Sam, yeah, would have been ironic had the only one I did not want to drop ended up at the bottom!

Super confident after a good result last week, -5 after 9 but bogeyed the 10th and lost momentum. Finished -7, round 2 never sparked and hit -7 again.
Will play rounds 3/4 later in the week but i don’t see that being enough to make the cut.
Nice golf course, tricky greens, tricky conditions.
Good luck out there

I spent a miserable couple of nights in the Cellar, with nothing for company but the e-mail from Doyley telling me my services were no longer required on the posh tours and a number of strange aromas. After play was complete for the day I grabbed my golf bag, snuck past a couple of dozing guards and crept onto the first tee. I managed my customary bogey or two but made a few birdies and got round in -5. The security staff were still either napping or trying to chat up girls from the concession stands so I went round again. This time it was more like the practice rounds of previous weeks. Plenty of good approach shots, keeping away from the bear traps left by acesgalore. A rare bogey-free outing and plenty of red numbers. It was a -10 round, where was this form when I needed it recently, and -15 at the halfway stage. up mup kupen nup I might do a little better this week in the Hunt for the Golden Cow

Fought my way through countless tempo issues in round 1 to an ugly -5. Round 2 was more of the same playing an even more ugly first 11 holes at -2. At that point I'm just trying to get out of there and move on with my week, so I promptly close on 7 straight birdies to finish -14 at the cut.
I predict: not good enough to make the cut, but good enough to make me feel close, get my hopes up, and shatter them all over again when I see the other round 2 scores come in

Oh man, good job I haven't got a cat. Took a peak at the leaderboard and targeted -8 to start, same as last week the only aim is to clear that last ugly red mark from my slightly embarrassing rage quit a couple of weeks ago.
Not a great start, 3 straight pars but then gave myself a shortish birdie chance at 4. Putted it off the green and made bogey, +1. Channeled my annoyance well and got the shot straight back at 5, and that triggered a really nice run. Hit the ball well, made some good putts, missed a good eagle chance at the short par 4 but 10 birdies in 11 holes, flying! And then I did it again at 16, another short birdie putt turned in to a 3-putt bogey. Got that one back at 17 but can't help feeling I've blown a chance to be right in amongst it. Two birdies turned in to bogeys, that's a 4 shot swing.
-9 62 to start. Never been so disappointed to exceed my target! Soft and very fast was interesting, but it played well.

-7 after 2. Mentally withdrew after a BS ripoff when an eagle pitch on 16 I believe it was hit the lower area of the pin near the hole and rolled all the way to the other part of the green where it’s impossible to putt from. It cost me 4 strokes. Went from -5 to -1. Lost it from there and just played speed golf. Between that and the continual random very slow flops I’ve been getting for no reason I’m about to lose my mind over here.
