Could be wrong but I don't think the later rounds are checked by API until towards the weekend, so for example if a player has already played all 4 and his first round passed it doesn't necessarily mean he's safe. I think I can even remember a player being pulled the day after a tnmnt finished.

Some players don't play their Rd3/4 until after the cut, and I as I understand it, they are checked at X time just after their rounds complete... could be wrong. Am curious, though, if someone plays all four rounds before the cut and their Rd1/2 pass, but Rd3 or 4 fail would they get pulled off the leaderboard then or be let to stay on until after the cut?

They’d be pulled there and then (or as soon as the API runs) Bob, as far as I know. API works in rounds of 2, and I don’t believe there are pre and post cut runs. Can be any combination of 2 rounds though.
I don’t believe anyone could be pulled for playing one round (unless obviously scripting or something), but then any round after 2 could be enough to trigger the metric.
At least that’s how I understand it.

TBF, I've been scared about getting pulled for weeks. I actually was worried this week, not because I was intentionally doing it but because I had quite a few "nervous" shots (trust me, my score represents the nerves from R2). Don't worry guys as these "nervous shots" were never even close to the hole because well, I was trying to hit it straight =P. At least the metric is now officially in place and I don't have to worry a whole week if I'm going to get pulled or not. I think just about everyone has a nervous push or an accident going for a fast. It happens. I will assume that is taken into account.

After round (1), can you change the clubs from the bags and play round 2? And after the round (2) , you can change, again, the clubs of the suitcases and play the round 3? Always using the master, of course. Is the API going to punish you for that?I don't know the rules of golf and I don't know English. I use a translator. Finishing: Par-4 hole, which hits a shot, is hole in one or albatross?

From what I understand as well the API is run after you complete rounds 1 & 2 and then 3 & 4. You can literally barely fail the API in round 1, but then pass it by a wider margin in round 2 and end up with a pass because the results are averaged over the two rounds. So people being pulled are people that have failed an average of two rounds. The reason I am told for this is that anyone can have an exceptional round where they might barely fail from hitting it two sweet, but the overwhelming number of people won't do that two rounds in a row or at least shouldn't.

You were one of the guys I was referring to who sought out help/advice and adjusted and have nothing to worry about going forward (assuming you don't revert back to the old swing).

So is the difference in the lower tours that it only runs after 4 rounds and is an average of the four or something else?

-2 2nd rd= MC. Tempo issues galore. Everybody play well and look forward to Augusta next week. Pretty bummed with no masters because of coronavirus. 1st time since ww 2 that it hasn't been played. Crazy times right now but we will persevere and be 💪.
