I know what I said, there is no need to question me.I am sure many of you are upset that we are playing another course by @b101after the way he treated me a few weeks back and I thank you for your kind concern. For the new people here I shall quote what I said awhile back
”this is the last time we shall see a course by such a shoddy designer on this tour. There is no way he will ever be part of the wonderful Korn Ferry again. Not a chance, like I mean ever, he is person non grata to us. It’s just not possible one of his courses will be used, honest to goodness, cross my heart and all that.”
So why are we playing a course by Ben again. Well because I am such a kind hearted, thoughtful and caring person. I am the complete opposite of Ben and why should I stoop to his level. Someone has to be the bigger person, someone has to stand up and show the people of The Korn Ferry that forgiveness and tolerance are far more important that petty grievances, to show that one of us knows how to be a man. There is also one more reason I am allowing Ben to feature here again and for that I need one more quote.
”Over the years, I have put design contest courses on tour and they all finished second or third. By putting Kaiuma on tour, I have shattered all his hopes and dreams. What’s my name now Ben? Huh, what’s my name now? Enjoy your second place trophy”
It only fu***ng worked, Ben finished second, ha, ha, ha. Come on everybody, let’s all laugh at Ben, ha,ha,ha. I really hope the fits of laughter, ha,ha,ha, won’t spoil anyone’s round, ha,ha,ha. Good luck, have fun on another fantastic course by Ben, ha,ha,ha.

Another course from Ben, are you kidding me! He just keeps delivering great looking Golf Courses but better that that, they are very playable, fun and strategic Golf Courses.
Really thought I could get a Top 15 finish this week, the course suits my game with large landing areas, greens that reward good/ thought out approaches rather than having to land on a six pence and greens that have slope but aren’t too steep.
Walked off with -7, that’s 5 short of what it should’ve been and will mean I’m fighting for the cut later in the week.

Thanks, I guess, Dan...
Interested to get feedback on this one - it's way out of my usual comfort zone with my designs (minimal planting, no centreline bunkers to allow easy generation of width and angles and greens with minimal tiering - hence the 187s). Hope it plays well for you all!

decided to play a practice round before jumping into the society, came out scorching with -8 front nine and finished -12 in the practice round. Feeling good I jump into the society round, and promptly stumble to a -3 front nine. Absolutely fuming and cursing myself for playing the practice round, I try to regroup.....and come back with this back 9. Loved the course, and knowing what I was capable of on both 9's I'm getting way ahead of myself and started thinking really dirty thoughts about whats possible on a full 18. I'll be back after I finish letting myself down

Hey Y'all! Just created a forum account. Been a pleasure competing against y'all these past couple of weeks! Just wanted to say hey. Hey! This is a good opportunity to join our rivalry: The Hunt for the Golden Cow. If interested, I'd be happy to take your last week's scores retroactively into account. A short description of the rivalry has been given last week as well. For your convenience, I include it below. The Hunt for The Golden CowHello and welcome old and new pixel golfers of the Korn Ferry Tour. Week one after a promo event is an excellent moment to start a new season of our beloved little rivalry formerly known as WSACOW (We Stand A Chance Of Winning). It is nothing special at all. However, it helped some of us (me) to maintain focus even if the cut is missed. The rules are very basic. Participants simply play their usual KF rounds and post the respective scores (no screenshots needed) in the weekly thread. Points are rewarded based on the total score after 4 rounds. Missed cuts are not taken into account. The weekly winner receives [number of participants] points, then one point less for each subsequent finisher. Note that those who do not finish get 0 points. If you happen to be interested, please confirm your participation in this thread (tag me maybe).

Well, i didn't realize that i actually got 2 red marks instead of 1 last week...by 1 stroke of course. This is likely my final week as a pro since i played like garbage first 2 rounds this week. Hit it ok but my putting is just off and burning so many edges so then i press too much trying to get it closer with approaches and make stupid mistakes.
Thanks everyone for the banter and i hope to make it back up one day
cheers!

Well I look like I will be having the shortest possible stay in the Pro ranks. A couple of reds last week and a couple of garbage rounds combined with half the world being forced to stay indoors doesn't auger well for me staying. Really loved the challenge of this flight but I can hear a fat lady doing vocal exercises. Art Vandelay leave the key for the cellar under the mat

I signed up for the 'HB Stay at Home, we've got you Coved 2020' promotion. Essentially the rule is hit 3 p/p's in a row and win a giftable copy of TGC 2019. Suppose they doing their bit to try and keep peeps inside for longer. Anyway, I hit the course yesterday a couple of minutes after the new server day started as I was worried I might miss out on the inevitable 'while stocks lasts' T's and C's. Opened with a bird in the 1st after 2 p/p's on the trot. By the time I rage quit after 9 holes I was on +4. Did not get close in winning my free copy. This afternoon I saw they still had not given away any copies yet, so I immediately hit the course again, birdied the 10th - by the time I walked off the 18th I was sitting on +4 again. Stats say 44% gir for the round. Made up new rules for round 2 on the spot - was going to quit soon as my score for the round goes over par. Fast down app on 1st, awesome chip n putt to save. 2nd, another fast down app, severe short side, left 1st chip short of green in rough. I rarely chip in, so I took my par save attempt and was halfway out of my chair when I heard the clatter of ball against the pin and the sweet sound of cup bottoms. Sat down a wee bit irked tbh, played 3rd hole, dropped a 21 footer with a 6 foot breaker for bird, 5th dropped another 22 footer for eagle. On the 8th a 32 footer for another eagle. Dropped a few shots in-between after a string of off tempo shots, by the time I got to 18 I scored -10. -6 after 2, another easy missed cut. Been a loooong ride, my sense of humour been on an ever downward spiral of death, frustration level rising faster than spider spotting my wife approach with a shoe in hand out of one of his beady 8 little eyes. The day comes when frustration > sense of humour i'm out. Nice course I should add.

A few weeks off is often a good thing Crazy Croc , don't fall in to the same trap everyone else seems to of continuing to play even when it's not fun just because you think you have to! It just drives you to hate the game, which is unfortunate because it's actually still pretty good, especially on this tour. The burnout is real! There are other games available...
Must admit, I may be nearing a little voluntary break myself. Been in a bit of a rut recently and I totally empathise with the frustrations of all the above 3 posters. I've found that particularly with this version of the game I seem to play in phases. The player that made 6 cuts in a row and had a top 10 and a few top 25's is a very different player to the one that has now missed 7 of the 10 cuts since then and has a warped putter. I love the tempo swing (yes, even on Xbox) but sometimes it makes you want to drown kittens! Planning to play my first round after work tonight, but I'm going in with no confidence at all. I do also realise, sometimes it just takes one good round out of nowhere and it can all turn around. Here's hoping....

After my glorious opening round back 9 I put together a disappointing -8 2nd round followed by a close-to-but-still-not-completely flawless third round -13. My fourth round started great and I was sitting -9 with 4 holes to go....and finished +1 on those last 4 holes. Didn't have a bogey until my final round and had 3 of them in round 4. I'm sure it cost me my chance at winning but I'm hoping a top 10 may still be in the cards.
-12 / -8 / -13 / -8 = -41

Played pretty well on my first round but being way to casual on short putts cost me three shots. I really need to start paying more attention for those putts. -8 for round one.

I am really having such an off week. I have -2 after 2. Happily joined Crazy Croc on the leaderboard after the 1st round. My 2nd +4 1st round in a row (across societies). Ugh
