What a surprise to note that several PGA champions migrated to the starting tournament. Why did they do that? Tournament without pressure, much chance of winning, being at the top of the category regularly? Can a tournament for beginners, with the participation of experienced players, be considered fair? Is the API not there? Or is it the pleasure of the mathematical game? Or the desire to win multiple times If anyone can explain the reasons to me, I appreciate it. Obs. It is not necessary to attack me, in case you don't like my questioning, ok? I just want to understand. Maybe they will convince me to do the same (unlikely).

Your disappoint is easy to understand. Unfortunally, the beginner tour is not made REALLY for beginners. Being open to anyone, it happens that a huge amount of very strong players compete on this tour simply to see how much low they can go on a tournament. I think is wrong too (is one of the reasons why i decided to skip the beginner club and tour and to start directly using pro clubs), but i suppose that until there will be not a rule to stop who plays other tours to play the beginner tour, there is really very little to do about it.

The Beginner Club Tour is not - nor is it intended to be - a tour for Beginner players. It is intended to put all players on even footing in spite of wild inconsistencies among platforms, and to provide an arcade-like playing experience.
CC-Am is the tour that is catered towards novice players in a sim-type of career mode.

Anyone who can't understand why someone wouldn't want to play at the top of the pga tour, read the pga thread, and the push/pull thread, and the various threads about ps4 being unfair and how tours should be split between platforms. The BCT essentially eliminates all of that. It levels the playing field. It's a simpler form of the game. Just you and the course basically. There are people that are really good at it.
Also, the reason I joined bct, there's no pressure to play in an event. Or complete it. No where to move up or down.
The best suggestion I have would be to compete against the people around you on the leaderboard every week. Kind of creating your own flight.

Everyone needs to remember the "C" in BCT. It makes a massive difference in what the purpose of the Tour is. It seems that most of the top names that play there are people who have been here since the TGC days where it felt like everyone was on a level playing field regardless what platform you played on. Not one time yet this season in any of the BCT threads has there been any mention of anyone having a PS4 advantage help them get better scores and this is the closest you'll get to a level field in this version of the game.
If you don't mind not having tiers to progress through and are looking for a gameplay experience more like the original TGC where you can sit back and relax without worrying about tempo or which controller is in your hand than the BCT is a great Tour to play in.

I'm not in it to win it. For me it's all about enjoyment and the PGA was no fun anymore with people using whatever "advantage" they could to score better. Too much drama every week with bashing courses, schedulers, rangers and whatever else was the topic of the pissing contest that week. Much more laid back and friendly......is Ray allowed back soon? The only advantage on PS4 is when SweetTeeBag plays with my balls to see where not to go Suk M STB EDIT: I never won on the PGA, only EURO 5 years ago, so I guess my move to BCT didn't matter.

I wish I could play bct and cc at the same time. But that would require another society and these poor admins do enough work for this great site already
