She is a hell of a lot stronger than I thought she was (physically) You never hear her talk much and by the pictures and videos you see of her I assumed she was old (still is old lol) very frail and on deaths door. She seems like she has a lot of time left in her yet.

Whilst I am no monarchist, there's definitely an advantage to having a head of state who is essentially apolitical and can deliver a message like that with zero questioning of her motives for doing so.

I should have started ranting about this a while ago but something that pisses me right off (not sure if others are experiencing this as well) is that golf courses are closed.. I get they are "non-essential" businesses but isn't golf the perfect activity that can keep people sane and still social distance?? Don't understand that reasoning, especially in a state where golf is so popular. I signed a petition on Facebook a couple days ago to get courses open. Had about 40,000 signatures at the time but I doubt that will do anything.

The sad part about the courses being closed is, I have not seen anybody out preparing these same courses either. If they do open, they are going to look bad for the most part.

I've seen two or three posts about golf courses being shut down and closed.
They are not closed in my area. In fact, they are not only open, but packed to where you can't even get into the parking lots.
Now you'd THINK that it would be the ideal place to get exercise safely, but its not so. As you look out there, you can see them standing in groups on the tee boxes, and waiting, and they are not very far apart, plus they are in the clubhouse and locker rooms, touching who knows what, like business as usual.

So it's not just the millennials that can't follow simple advisories. In this situation, these people get what they are asking for even though they never requested anything. I don't wish that upon anyone but sorry, “To every rule there is an exception—and an idiot ready to demonstrate it. Don't be the one!” or “You can't make anything idiot proof because idiots are so ingenious.” or this one which is perfect for today's climate - “Hundreds of wise men cannot make the world a heaven, but one idiot is enough to turn it into a hell.”

A favorite saying that me and my best friend use all the time is, Back in caveman days, these are the people that would've got eaten by the bears.

Ha, yeah true that. A lot of people like to flip it round and say intellectuals wouldn't have lasted a minute in caveman days but, the way I see it, the super tough cave men would've been today's intellectuals! The people who talk all tough now would've been the ones who didn't pay enough attention to the bears

My wife's hospital as of yesterday has had not had any CV19 deaths. A couple they thought would not make it have pulled through and should be off the ventilators soon. This is not a small hospital either and in a major American city. Pretty amazing so far. I cannot get into details on what she tells me but holy sh%$ it is craziness. I would not last two minutes before this CV 19 but now it is really crazy. One interesting thing she said was the "fall downs" have decreased significantly. Meaning people who are found down are decreasing. Which she thinks means a lot of the opiod users are staying indoors which likely means they will not be revived.
Sad story she did tell me. A pregnant women got it and she tried to fight it at home but had to come in to the ER. They had to do a emergency C Section and she hemorrhaged. Now the mother is struggling to live. The baby is in isolation and the Father is not allowed to see his wife or his baby. I could not even imagine.
For those who own a business or know someone who does. There is a payroll forgiveness SBA loan. Basically it is 2.5 times your average payroll for 8 weeks. It has some red tape of course but it will help a lot of small businesses. We are doing our best here but if this goes too long I fear the worst for a lot of small businesses including mine. Which will lead to massive unemployment and the loss of some of the best made products/services on the market.
