I really couldn't make my mind up about this course. Tee to green it's a great challenge, but the firmness of the greens was nasty. I've had a fair few practice rounds and struggled for a decent score every time. Still, the tournament had to be played, so I set off with little or no expectation of doing well. I surprised myself with a first round 66 a still struggling all the way with my placement on the green. As the winds were reasonably friendly, I went for round 2 and almost wished I hadn't. A scrambling 69 with a couple of lucky chip-ins left me on -9 at half way. I thought this might just be good enough to get under the cut line, so I continued. The winds picked up a bit, but so had my shots into the green, and I managed a very pleasing 64. With confidence higher, I went for my last round and shot the best yet - a 63, and I left a few shots out there too. Despite my decent score, I'm not sure if this is a course I'd rush to revisit, it's just frustrating rather than fun for me.

General consensus is that most people aren't really enjoying the course all that much, but on the plus side I think that improves the competitiveness of the tournament as you really need to be "on it" to score well and a duff round is very possible for most people. That being said....firm greens suck!

I had three good rounds with a 65, 66, 63 then the wheels fell off in my last round with a 71 in light winds. Hey that's golf will probably drop me outside the top 20 now.

That being said....firm greens suck! I think it's a bit ridiculous that people who are shooting 67's on this course are complaining that it's too difficult. What they need is more cheese for their whine, and more cowbell.

I enjoyed it. It makes you think far harder about your approach and this in the long run will make me a better player. I still need major improvements in sidehill putts though which is a tad unfortunate on this course.
68/66/66/64 for 24 under which I was kinda okay with until I looked at how many shots I dropped. Par the bogeys and I was looking at mid 30's under. Got lucky with the wind though, with only the last round seeing anything above 5mph, even then it didn't get above 8.

Enjoyed the course. Liked the greens firm with some roll, seperates the field. With the green firm a little wind makes all the difference. Scored 62 n 65 in the first two rds.

Enjoyed the course. Liked the firm Greenspan so you cant just stick the approach shots. A little wind with firm green makes it tough to go really low. Scored a 62,65 in the first two rds.

Only played one practice round but the greens look ridiculously firm. Together with pin placements many of these holes seem impossible to get close to from your approach shot. I must admit my experience of the web.com tour has been nowhere near as pleasurable as my champions tour days. Loved the courses on that tour. Hoping web.com improves soon. I've changed my mind. Apart from a couple of unfair pin placements I've grown to like this course. Saying that I have not coped with the outward 9 all week but that is the beauty of golf. I love the fact that course suitability affects computer games players too. I'll be lucky to make the cut but I have fallen in love with this course. Heres hoping my sorta course appears next on the schedule :-)

Finished -20after playing all four rounds, but I am going to miss the cut, as my first two round were my worst.

Ripped it up in the 3rd and 4th rounds shooting 61 & 62, the 61 could quite easily have been 58/59 if it weren't for a couple of putts stopping on the lip and one lipping out and defying gravity. Amazing considering at the start of the week I was really struggling to get around in even par!
My first tourney done and dusted, hopefully good enough for a top 10 finish, only time will tell.

Well done swanny32 could have been up there with you if I hadn't of finished with a crap 71, started with three good rounds then the wheels fell off. I was just trying to get too accurate and hit a few too many bunkers
