same hole from the tee, mostly sculpted aside from that DAM bunker on the right that hasn't been touched yet. Some bunkers may change later on when I'm more experienced and able to pinpoint issues (or lack thereof) more proficiently.

Just experimenting. Going to try to design more instinctively, see where things go and what concepts still need work, and learn from it.

Decided to start the polish and planting phases, now that something bordering on workable is down for all 18 holes. I looked at Pebble Beach #7 when searching for cliffside terrain to look at for sculpting and was taken aback by the prominent hill feature left of it, just had to include something similar on the 3rd hole. early surfacing for a few other holes is in the background. still got a long ways to go with this one

More planting mini self-lessons, this time with grass, good enough for now. Tonight / tomorrow will bring a different planting lesson, TBD yet. (EDIT, has since been mostly redone to get it up to standards)

I think it's not guaranteed that I finish my CC course on time. I have A LOT to learn about the tools, and while I will do my level best to cram that into the next 2-3 weeks there's no guarantee I'll be physically capable of learning all that in such little time.

Dude, you got a month. Just get it published as best you can, get the feedback and move on. Seriously, just get out from underneath these wips. It's liberating, you'll get the feedback you need and you can start on the next one with a clear mind.

I'm just trying to learn the tools is the thing. I know what this course can and should be. I take too much pride in my work to sell it short this time around. Remember, I'm also trying to learn general IRL course architecture knowledge almost as quickly as I can, and as a result I have been basically trying to push myself right up to but not past the point where I snap for the last couple months. I'm really looking forward to finishing this course and getting a chance to kick back and chill for a bit. Btw, the loaf will be published at some point once I'm either far enough along where time pressure isn't relevant / dropped out / or CC is published. I won't be tweaking it very much, it's my first course and I'm fine with it looking like such. In case you're wondering I have still been working on my CC course tirelessly, and the holes that are close to finished play very well.

Today was time to take on my 'sculpting nemesis,' having futzed without saving so many times on this hole in weeks past. At last, hole 5 is mostly sculpted. Only holes 13 and 18 have major sculpting yet to do, then it's mostly environment and testing.
I made a schedule which has me finishing on approximately 6/27, so I should be ok time-wise.
