Hey guys! Newish to the forums and chats here, hoping to get to know more of you better! I've been working on a course for a long time and today I finally published it. Shoreditch Common GC is inspired by the great heathland courses in the UK. It's a par 70, with 5 par 3's and 3 par 5's. The main focal point of the course is a ridge that houses 4 greens and 4 tees all in close proximity. 3rd green, 4th tee, 9th green, 10th tee, 12th green, 13th hole tee and green, and 14th tee. The par 3's range in length from 120 yards downhill, to the 250ish yard 16th. The green on the 16th is inspired by the now long gone original green at Sitwell Park (check it out, it's crazy). It's extreme but playable. The par 4's are quite varied with 4 of them that can stretch to over 500 yards (the 12th is a monster at 528 yards uphill to a back pin). 3 of them are also potentially drivable with favorable conditions. The course is very wide in some spots, narrow in others, and is a lot of fun to play. I'm bad with technology, so if anyone is able to post a couple pictures I would be extremely grateful Thanks! -Matty

Played this on stream tonight. Matty joined and it was a lot of fun. Commented on how to play a few holes and walked me through his design. AWESOME course and it should be played by a lot of people. Looking at you catcherman22Mr. Saxondale himself will enjoy this one a lot too I think PithyDoctorG

Wow this looks great! Love the look of the planting around the bunkers. How many courses have you made previous to this one??

Wow this looks great! Love the look of the planting around the bunkers. How many courses have you made previous to this one?? I've made a decent number, but I would say this is my 3rd real course where I understood the design tools and planting a little more. I feel like I'm improving the further I go (as most everyone does). My best course prior to this is definitely Royal Erindale. Thanks for that kind words! I'm in PS4 and the planting took ages haha!

Oh yes, heathland courses are my second favourite after links. I'll check this out at some point. Maybe sooner rather than later thanks to a virus that shares it's named with a Mexican beer.

Got to say one of the most enjoyable fictional courses i have played for a long time.Course had a unique feel to me which is impressive the amount of courses i have played in this game.Thought the 10th and 13th holes really outstanding just stunning holes.Loved the sunningdale type theme to this course only small downside i feel a couple of the long par 4s with some slope of the fairways kicked into the rough for over 500 yards thought a bit tough but apart from that nic-picking aside one of the best courses i have played for a long long time. Don't forget to post it at the HB forums as well, too good a course to miss out. www.hb-studios.com/forum/index.php/board,105.0.html

I'm so happy to hear you enjoyed your round, that's what this is all about I definitely agree with the severity of the slopes on holes 7 and 12 (I'm assuming those are the ones you're referring too). I know they're borderline, but I also thought of how good some of the players are, and I'm ok with a couple kick you in the pants holes haha! They're not impossible, you just have to execute. I'll post on the HB forum when I get home today. Thanks so much and I'll catch you around!

It's also very clever how you've planted the pinky plant in the gorse to make it look more like heather.
