This course has been in development for awhile now but wanted to wait to make the announcement. 1 week ago today my son Cliff was born (he is sleeping in my arms right now). I have been building this course in his honour and designing it as a fantastical mountain course that will be beautiful yet terrifying and create many memorable moments. I'm pulling out all the stops for designing this monstrosity. Shipping containers of TNT, helicopters with freakin jackhammers hanging from them and a team of highly trained goats to carry thousands of rolls of turf up the mountainside. Pics coming soon.

Have 18 playable hole designs, some of which will probably change a lot. I've started doing some planting on the holes I really like and finally have some screenshots worth sharing. Number 11 is the hole I was designing when my wife went into labour. Number 8 is another fun par 5 with a couple of risk reward options. I realize this type of course is probably a terrible design choice for this contest so I have a couple of other ideas I've started as backups. I will have to decide later which my actual contest entry will be. Either way it will be a course that I enjoy playing so hopefully some others will like it too.

Back in full production on this course. Making some hard decisions about hole designs and playability, redesigning some holes as needed. This par 3,16th hole is one that looks and plays much better after a pretty big overhaul. Will still be several more weeks to release.

The first Hole in one on this course while playtesting. I wouldn't have sped it up if I thought it would drop, caught me by surprise. The course is getting more polished every day but I still have lots of planting left.

I think we are both going for the "who can scare the CC players the most" contest!
Damn right, keep em terrified. OB on every hole, can't slack off for a second. If you look up and left in the video you can see the clubhouse next to the 18 green above this hole. It has a white knuckle approach shot that is straight up vertigo inducing. Should make some memorable finishes should this ever end up on tour.

Final sculpting pass completed on fairways and greens. Still more planting to do, I'm struggling with the black spot glitch so it is slowing things down but it shouldn't be too much longer. Thought it was time to show a wider shot of the plot, this picture shows holes 1,2,4,5,8,9,12,13,14,15,16,17 and 18. I also have another hole in one, this time from the 16th.

sroel908: And as someone who's rangered/scheduled hundreds of courses, trying out a wide range of conditions, I can say with certainty that green speeds do have an impact and definitely matter.

sroel908: Green firmness is more about how the ball interacts with the putting surface when you hit an approach into it. A soft green is more receptive, and will allow more backspin than a firm one. A firm green will have less bite and more rollout.

meunier33: I still play this game like it was the game before 2K21. Up until this month I have never tried to change anything about how I play the game. It has made me worse trying to adapt also.

Art Vandelay: each time the game has been issued (TGC, TGC2, TGC19, etc) the game play changes. Some more than others. You have to adapt. Or go away, like some have.
