I'm trying my first course via the Crazycanuck method, but I'm running into a problem. After changing what I thought on settings, I ran my first hole and when I was done bunkers were formed for some reason, but I don't know why. I tried it in a few different areas, but bunkers kept appearing. Any ideas why ?

Go to the settings tab on the far right. Go down to course settings. Go down to fairway. At the very bottom, I believe, it'll say bunkers. Click on that and move the slider down to none. Go back one page and scroll down to greens. Do the same with those bunkers. That'll eliminate all the auto generated bunkers. Hope this helps.

Thanks very much, I had to start again, I couldn't figure out how to change the settings from what I had. At any time you can change those settings, and it will delete the bunkers that were generated already. If you lay out a hole or 2 (or all 18) and the game generates those bunkers, you can change that setting to 0 and they will all disappear. Same with the generated trees, rocks, plants, and hills. You can toggle them up and down as you go. Just for future reference.

Depends how you want to do it but i turn all of them down to zero except greens to 5 YDS and then make everything manually.

If you can't figure out how to turn them off, I believe there's also a 'clear autogenerated surfaces' function in sculpt.

I think there's one for each, but I have only ever used the bottom one / clear autogen objects

There is one for objects (which is plants, rocks, grasses, and trees) and one for just trees.

I tried getting rid of them with clear regenerated, but they wouldn't go. I couldn't find a setting to get rid of them either so I started again, It was a different plot, but I managed to get a stream out of it, which I didn't have in the first one. I just have to remember to set certain settings to Zero when I start. Appreciate the help. I listened to those videos all the way thru and thought I heard everything, but I missed a few things.
Now I need to work on the water setting to make the stream flow.
