Answer the questions. What is false? China didn't hide anything? Small business owners stand to lose millions because of this. This ain't a game. Again my product goes on hospital beds my wife is a nurse. We doing our part. Juvenile.. lol. Does this affect you? Not clear on what you do for money. I have always been transparent. I guarantee you don't do much. Come on guys.... LKeet6 FRSTDWNGuy(s) plural. Ok. He spreads misinformation and he always starts the juvenile mudslinging first. He'll never stop, and if I challenge him, it's "come on guys." Ok, I guess I have to stop then. I'm out.

Hopefully she doesn't get it.

it is ten times deadlier than the flu, that is true... but we're talking .1% to 1%... that is not considered mathematically significant. From earlier in the thread: If we go off of the 100 million number above.. an increase from 100k to 1 million is only an increase of 900k..... large yes, but we're comparing it to 100 million... 900k to 100 million is literally almost nothing (its less than 1%)…. if we compare 5 million to 50 million (which is 45 million), that's a significant chunk of the 100 million (45%). 600,000 American deaths per year seems significant no matter how you slice it. Especially when we can take measures to significantly reduce that number. Not only that, but the resources we are spending in trying to treat the overflow of people checking into hospitals is preventing us from treating other people who need medical attention for other reasons. When those people die, it doesn't count in the coronavirus statistics. Stay home. Don't make people like Paul's wife work any harder than they already are. They are quite literally risking their own lives and the lives of their families.

I'm out. Guys plural because it takes two to tango - and tangle. Who started it doesn't matter. It's the prolonged engagement of personal insults that becomes a problem to the overall discussion. Dan and I don't see eye to eye either but we aren't destroying each other on a personal level. We are and will be friends, regardless. I won't hold it against him or insult him because he is wrong ( hi Dan lol ). It's great to have discussion and points of view about them. But you two take some serious barbs at each other inside the points you both try to make. This thread is important. It deals with a lot of serious stuff going on right now. People are dying. Disease is spreading. No vaccines or anti virals are available. Businesses are closing. People are losing their jobs and paychecks. Cities are shutting down. We can discuss the merits of leadership decisions but damn, we shouldn't be ripping each other down while we do it. Now kiss and make up please. ... muah!

Well said. I'm not in favor of just giving out money but nurses police firefighters and EMTs certainly don't make enough. 12 hour days and unfortunately a lot of the time thankless.
Could use a pay raise.
Not really sure what we will do when wife goes to work on weekend. Thinking hose her down 😄

They need their PPE's and equipment pronto.... and a pay raise

They need their PPE's and equipment pronto.... and a pay raise My Son in Law is EMT and they are crying out for more N95 masks which are in short supply. My daughter also works as Lab Tech and working long hours dealing with massive paperwork on covid 19 tests that are shipped out to government labs to determine the result. I live 6000 miles away from 90 yr old mother who is medically compromised and lives alone, away from my children and grandchildren, brother, nieces and nephew. I have Stage 4 COPD, and also a heart issue. I am in the high risk category. What's my fear? That if I contract this virus I will never see my grandson graduate , my grand daughter go to her first boy girl dance, my oldest grandchild graduate from College and that I will certainly die without my family being around me, which unfortunately happened to my brother who died from the Flu a few years back. So what am I doing to insure this won't happen, following the goddamn advice of the professionals and taking every precaution not to contract this virus. Currently my husband has to work, part of the job he could do from home, but the other part no, so every day he goes out and deals with the public he puts me at risk. We both know this and are extremely careful from washing hands to cleaning door knobs. light switches, tables, desktops, food packages coming into the home along with the some time plastic bags purchased. Am I going overboard? I don't think I am, I think I am doing exactly what I need to do to protect myself. To the young people out there partying on the beaches in Florida, shame on you. You are putting your family at risk, you are putting the American population at risk. To those who think the media is going overboard, I would rather not be in a country that silenced, detained and arrested like those in China who tried to get this information out to the world before it got out of hand, which it now is. I am very thankful to have family here, in TGC tour forums to keep me informed of how you are all doing and coping with the situation. I am grateful to be able to enjoy time with everyone to get my mind off of what is happening and to keep me from getting myself into a deep depression.

Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced yesterday evening that the UK Government have purchased tests that have been developed that can tell you if a person has had coronavirus and if they are now immune. They apparently work in a way not to dissimilar to a pregnancy test.
If they prove to be effective, this will be a big first step. It's not going to eradicate the disease but it will certainly help a lot and improve the direction Government strategies are taking to halt the disease. It would also allow people who have carried the disease and developed immunity to return to something approaching normal life.
Fingers crossed they work and they are then rolled out worldwide, starting with the countries that need it the most.
He also announced testing will be increase from around 5,000 per day to 25,000 per day in days and estimates that in 12 weeks the UK will be in a position where the pandemic will have past his peak and will be in decline. Key word being estimates.

I am grateful to be able to enjoy time with everyone to get my mind off of what is happening and to keep me from getting myself into a deep depression. We share a couple of the same health issues. Others here also have similar issues. We also share the same fears as well with this virus. Much love to you, your husband and family while you're going through all of that. I can absolutely relate. My solution for beating the depression? Cannabis edibles. I use an RSO oil. 76% THC. The dosage is like a grain of rice. Taste nasty though. I usually put it in the middle of a Cheerio Something your husband can do if he doesn't already - I need to tell my daughter this too. Have bag at the door with a robe in it when he comes home. When he walks in the door, he can change clothes right there and put his clothes in the bag. Wash the clothes right away. Jump in the shower and then wipe down the bathroom after. He needs to do this all before getting near you. It sounds like a lot for him but it really isn't. I don't think you are going overboard. I've seen Dr Fauci say multiple times it is better to overreact than under react for people like us with underlying issues. One of my doctors told me to wrap my scarf around my mouth when I walk my dog. Florida beaches. Smh. Selfish college kids. They are the ones who are supposedly becoming "educated". My lord I hope none of them are becoming doctors.
