A familiar foe in TPC @ Sawgrass this week......
Got on slightly better than I normally do round here through 36 holes, -12 and -11 for -23.
Will that make the cut and clear my Doyley kiss? Maybe.

Started off great with a - 14.
But of course I couldn't keep up the pace. Poor - 7 in the second round.
-21 won't make it.
At the moment I am playing two rounds a week and miss the cut most of the time. Of course that lack of practice won't help my scores. But because of me missing the cuts and having to play against pushers and flickers I have no motivation to practice....
I probably need a mental coach....

Two and done for me again.
Started well -6 through seven but never felt comfortable and i was right not to. Two very slow downswings @ 9 = two water balls and a snowman
Head scrambled at that point. Missed a few putts on the back for a pathetic 64
Round 2 was much more solid. 13 birdies but threw in another VS @ 4 and parred 9 and 16 thanks to slow BACKswings. 60 for a -20 halfway total.
Literally no clue where it's going atm.

I do practice a little but it all goes to pot come tournament time. Almost like i'm waiting for it to go wrong. If you find a good pshyciatrist, do let me know

Had to do some soul searching after another bout of missed cuts and really clueless play. Kind of discovered that wind play for me was just horrendous. Not just high or very high winds, any windsπ―. Go some advice from a buddy, practiced, kept the damn thing in the cone though it drifts one direcion or another or both practically every swing. Anyhoo, after a fast DS for a par on #1 things went really well, I suppose my best round ever on Tour. Hoping it wasn't a fluke, -17. I'll rest on this one for a bit and enjoy it.

-12,-12 to start. I think I was -5 total on front 9 in first two rounds. Then the hell of R3 I was chugging away -6 through 15 then missed a 5 foot birdie putt and next hole a water double which just crushed my soul. R3 -4. Finished out R4 and missed putt after putt on the edge -6. For some reason I just canβt putt this course even during practice rounds. Missed a few 5 ft and probably a dozen 10-12 foot. Ridiculous showing.

Sounds like my 3rd round too - except I went with the water ball 2nd shot at 7 (did you know there is water 50 yards left and 30 long? And that there is nowhere to drop it the other side, despite it being right near the 6th tee)
-3 and -9 to finsih, -35 total

What a week to get promoted up to PGA, just in time for TPC Sawgrass. Hoepfully I can stay around up here long enough to play in the Masters, that's been my goal since joining TGCT. Anyways, hello to all you PGA fellas. Glad to be up here finally.

Well i had fun hope tht counts for something. Left a bunch out there in the first two rounds but was still hanging around with a chance to tie the clubhouse lead after 54 holes. Then fast downswings on my approaches to 17 and 18 in round 3. With the way the wind was blowing they didn't really have a chance to stay dry.
Got it to -50, with a lot of frustrating misses in the 5-15 ft zone.
After 2 rounds I was pretty sure -60 wouldn't sniff a top 10, but after rounds 3 and 4 now I am thinking -60 will be a top 2 or 3.
Fun settings, good luck to everyone waiting to tee off

Beginner's clubs for me until the new game. ππ
It's the most fun I've had in quite awhile. ππ
Reminds me of OG TGC. ππ
I still want to play, so I settled for this. ππ
Good luck all and see you next time! ππ
