So after a fairly uninspiring -3 in the 1st round my bar was set pretty low for round 2. Sitting at -6 after 9 holes I made the mistake of noticing that I was -6 after 9 holes which seemed like a fairly respectable score and proceeded to drop 8 straight pars until an 18th hole birdie got me to -7. Happy with my round-to-round improvement and bogey free round but a couple putts that caught an edge and stayed out kind of stung as -9 would have sounded so much better on this course.

I guess I decided to do it different in round 3. -2 after two holes to get things started well, then 5 straight pars to get nowhere fast. Then managed 6 straight birdies with a 7th before the end to get to -9 for the round. Now in round four I just need to put the first half of round two with the second half of round 3 and all will be well.

Nothing great to mention in round 4. The two par 4's(5 and 18?) that played really long kind of burned me with a bogey and a par but otherwise everything was sit back and relax golf. Ended up -7 which gave me a -26 for the week. Aside from the first round I felt I had a fairly OK tournament.

Absolute garbage those last 3 rounds. Pair of -7s and a -3 to end at -29
Think I had one 20 foot putt drop but nothing else beyond 12 foot range. R2 was pulling virtually every shot and couldn't get anything close in R3.
Well played those in the -40s, I probably should have carried on playing Sunday night when I was hot.
Good luck those to start/finish, have a feeling Yaters will hold on for the W

Plus, Mark Custard hasn’t tee’d off yet. I'm just excited to have some new life back in to this tour. The competition will only get better. Once you guys get a few tournaments under your belt with beginner clubs, the fight for wins will be tough.

I saw Brad had finished up at -40 and had made a comment on the in game message system about wind and elevation not working correctly. Think I had one shot that came up 30 yards short, so guessing he had the same moment, I just couldn't get to grips with the 144 speed and screwed myself on a few shots where I only have 2 wedges and took the 165ish club out the bag to get extra distance clubs. I had a quick practice of next weeks course and one of the par 3's might need that 165 club, hmmmm choices choices. Had fun though, most on TGC2019 since the original Q school at St. Bedes.

I've recently returned to Chicago from a holiday to the Orcas Island, I've almost completed Rd 1, I think I'll finish with a -8. I'll probably finish all rounds by tomorrow.

3rd round was actually -6 and the longest holed putt was 8 feet, wow I stunk Hope you give it a go next week Daxon, I've enjoyed my first week over here. At this rate it'll have to be changed to the Champions Tour with all the ex top flight players jumping ship.

Wonder if the ******* qualifying event will be on 187 greens, that was fun on TGC1 ice rinks.

I'm going to play a round here for giggles and see how I like it. 😏😏 Would love to have you join us. Rollouts and parts of the short game take a few rounds to get used to, no doubt. It’s TGC1-like and a different type of challenge. if I had a complaint, it’s that we are playing on courses most of the time not designed for this club set. And they are CC courses as well, which isn’t a knock, just a different style. My favorite thing being on PGA for a few years was the amazing courses on the schedule. I had a good run on BCT. With all you guys coming in, I’ll be 2nd tier real quick.

Played all 4.
1st round was getting used to the clubs.
Middle 2 rounds were good.
Last round tried to hit "cute" shots.
-44 for my 1st 4 rounds with these clubs.
I'll take it.
Look forward to next week!
😊😊

I will of course try again and try to think of ways to not be so nervous. Always trying, trust me. I love that so many people are coming over to the BCT, i really do. This style of play is different to TGC1 and you probably think that is a stupid thing to say but for me with the first game i didn't have to worry about my shakes costing me shots Who else here sweats and shakes before every shot? After my -12 first round I was -5 after 8 holes in R2, then I started getting sweaty palms and my shots which are usually slightly pushed ended up looking like \ in the feedback rectangle and imploded. Hope to see you finishing 4 rounds soon, maybe pick a few rivals to compete against and ignore the top of the leaderboard?
