Do you get the same color or type controller or order from the same place when you get them?
I ask this because all of my black DS4's I use hit quite straight, but I have this dark blue one that is quite trash that I should use in this game except that the left analog floats and sometimes does and sometimes does not make the screen pull to the left in TGC19.
Point is, maybe you need to try a different one from a different dealer/color/place?
This may, of course, not apply to you at all. Just speculating and riffing off ideas to help another long standing member.
My current one is gold. Think it’s the second gold one I’ve ever used. First one was back on TGC1. Seemed to have had the most success with a couple of crystal controllers I used between TGC1 and the start of 19 but it broke early in the game cycle. I’ve used some black, blue, red. I’ve gone through an absurd amount. But only one that’s pulled is this gold one this month. It’s definitely not producing a swing that my human eye can see is any straighter than I’ve done in the past. Hoping to get into more detail with Jeff about the difference between my swing this tournament and the one that I won with and came in 2nd at the masters with last year that I would assume seemed way straighter and more consistent at the time. But obviously something is off I’m not noticing. What happened to all your old pads Tyler? Any of them worth a try? I've only ever had black ones to be honest, and I only ever use the official DS4 Mk2s (wired) for this game. I use a Razr for everything else as I was sick of wrecking pads playing Destiny and Battlefield and those things are bomb proof.

Don’t forget it could be putting Well we definitely know it's not slamming it down the right field line out of the 73 points of data they collect. Maybe next week that'll be a thing?

Off and running with -14 and -13. Will have no chance at the top as those numbers are the best I can possibly put up. If I can finish up with two strong rounds I might be able to get a win on my imaginary leaderboard of medium players.

Ironic that this week is the Arnold Palmer Invitational with the proposed swing changes possibly kicking in soon. Some big scorers already pushing the limits and some I've never heard of before giving it a go. Not played yet but expecting my usual magnificently unlucky performance.

Played round 1 and felt I did pretty good. Missed a few putts but overall was happy with a -12. Round two the pins were tougher and my swing decided to take a vacation for the first nine holes, only being -2 after 10. Came back strong and finished -9 and -21 through two which should take care of that last demotion strike. I can't imagine -21 doesn't make the cut this week.

Well, after last week's missed cut...that's right...playing much better thus far. Only had a couple tempo issues and no phantom breaks yet Sitting at -25 after two. Hope to keep it going...good luck all.

Finished off (despite the near certain missed cut) - and found some form - a solid -12 in R3, and then an excellent -14 in the gales and VF/VF greens (including a lovely hole out eagle on the 2nd, going in sideways at dead weight off the left slope ) Would have been -44 therefore.....

I needed an eagle on 18 in R2 to tie you...at -9. Thru two rounds. We suck!
3-2-1...you sticking around or going to bail out to Euro?

Played on Sunday before a work trip to Orlando. Shot some score, may make the cut, won’t contend.
Rinse, repeat.

I actually traded them all in to Gamestop to get a Scuff for free essentially. Most of them were worn to hell, wonky USB ports, torn joysticks and stuff like that. I had most of these in college with multiple roommates so they weren’t treated too kindly lol. I think I’ll buy a crystal DS4 tonight. The cheapest official PS4 controller, I’ve had good success with them in the past and in my experience the joystick comes a lot looser when it’s new than the regular ones.

Ahaha, I also eagled the last. At least we are great under pressure 😁 I GUESS I will bail to euro. Completely for my own reasons. Definitely not getting demoted. Nope. 😭

Finished my rounds with -41. Missed a lot of putts in round 3 and 4, a couple for eagle. Had my first hole out from the fairway in probably 20 tournaments. It came in the 4th round with a strong right to left hurricane. Knew the moment I hit it, that it was shaping to be a good shot. Two hops and a little roll into the cup. Those feel good. I did miss a hole in one by the edge of the cup after I played the hill behind the hole perfectly and it nearly rolled back down and into the hole.
Felt good. Probably barely in the top 25 but strike gone.

Looked up my season stats. Through 25 events I looked up only those on PGA who have played an average of 2 rounds or more per event weeks. So 25 weeks before this event multiplied by 36 holes is a minimum of 900 holes for the season. 107 players qualify for this stat. I think I found my problem: FIR (84.4%): t56/107 GIR (80.3%): t56/107 Putt Avg (1.401): 104/107
Edit: Driving Dist (278.0): 101/107 Scrambling (81.8%) : t78/107
Same for me FIR (78.2%): 102/107 GIR (79.6%): t67/107 Putt Avg (1.293): t25/107 Driving Dist (281.8) t74/107 Drive for show putt for dough and I learned it the hard way this week. Hit fairways well above my normal (85.7%) and had the worst putting in the field for the first round (1.667 PPH) in a bogey free round that included a t4 GIR of 94.4%. Golf is dumb.

Holy moly I played 3 consistent rounds of golf! -12 -11 to most likely make the cut for the first time in months it feels like. Of course it all fell apart in the 4th round but -42 might get me into the top 35.
