-60 is the clubhouse leader. Looks like Adam has really found his game... Just the push we all need to really dig deep and improve our game. Well played Adam. -60's don't grow on trees, so there are some very well constructed rounds in there, regardless of any thing else.

#Crapster has finished 2rds, bogey free, -20. Now wait til Friday morning Errrrrmmmmm... can't see you on the board mate... ala Tyler, have you checked your mails? Maybe my eyes are deceiving me, as I was rudely awoken by the boy at 05:15, but I'm not seeing you on my rivals board.

Yep, i'm on the naughty step for the 3rd time, oh well no Masters or R/C or Open or Olympics for me. Might be time for me to walk away, play well all.

A -9 and a -6 and I'll see you next week! Pretty sure I was -9, -8... so similar. Found myself a new seating position that kept me much straighter on my shots on Saturday night. Adopted said position on Sunday and was all over the place!

I also went into the water on #6 on my approach in both rounds. Round one was a fast DS and in R2 I pulled my shot to the left. *shrug*

Looked up my season stats. Through 25 events I looked up only those on PGA who have played an average of 2 rounds or more per event weeks. So 25 weeks before this event multiplied by 36 holes is a minimum of 900 holes for the season. 107 players qualify for this stat. I think I found my problem: FIR (84.4%): t56/107 GIR (80.3%): t56/107 Putt Avg (1.401): 104/107
Edit: Driving Dist (278.0): 101/107 Scrambling (81.8%) : t78/107

Yep, looks like I got my second pull for what I can assume will be swinging it too straight again.
Quite frustrating really to probably have to go out and buy another new $50 controller when I bought this one in December and only use it for TGC. I use a Scuf for all other games. I imagine the new one will also hit it dead straight like I’ve always done on golf games and I’ll still be worried about it every round.
Just strange it’s only been pulled this last month after five years of no issues. If anything I’m hitting it worse than most of my career honestly. I especially didn’t feel I hit it straight this week. Had quite a few pushes. Maybe my testing methods were still wearing off.
It is a bit funny that me and Smiffy are being pulled for hitting it too straight after years of no issues and we aren’t even competing for wins while we all know what’s going on at the top of leaderboards. 😂
Oh well, I’ll wait to hear from admins and likely go buy a new controller with my Sami Valimaki/Sungjae Im double hit earnings from yesterday. 🤑. I’ll test it out this week on other tours. If it’s still looking sketchy, might have to sit out in the Masters because if I go out swinging it too straight on this wonky game, it might as well be at Augusta.

Do you get the same color or type controller or order from the same place when you get them?
I ask this because all of my black DS4's I use hit quite straight, but I have this dark blue one that is quite trash that I should use in this game except that the left analog floats and sometimes does and sometimes does not make the whole screen pull to the left in TGC19. In Skyrim it is really maddening.
Point is, maybe you need to try a different one from a different dealer/color/place?
This may, of course, not apply to you at all. Just speculating and riffing off ideas to help another long standing member.

My current one is gold. Think it’s the second gold one I’ve ever used. First one was back on TGC1. Seemed to have had the most success with a couple of crystal controllers I used between TGC1 and the start of 19 but it broke early in the game cycle. I’ve used some black, blue, red. I’ve gone through an absurd amount. But only one that’s pulled is this gold one this month. It’s definitely not producing a swing that my human eye can see is any straighter than I’ve done in the past. Hoping to get into more detail with Jeff about the difference between my swing this tournament and the one that I won with and came in 2nd at the masters with last year that I would assume seemed way straighter and more consistent at the time. But obviously something is off I’m not noticing.

But obviously something is off I’m not noticing. It varies person to person and style of play, but it may be hitting too many shots in the same plane rather than too straight. Jeff is top notch at working with you regardless. I think you should really look at not using that particular Gold controller.
I say that not knowing your specific play, but just as someone who has also been playing this series for a long time as well. There are controllers that have dead zones whether they are new, slightly used or very old.
Hope you get it sorted!
