Ball squirt doesn't bother me too much, in real golf you get the odd shot that doesn't go right for one reason or another or you get a bad bounce. Live with it that's golf, I've also read that someone reckons they have sorted it for the PC if that's the case us xbox and PS 4 users are at a disadvantage anyway. I love the fact we can play across platform but I wouldn't mind finding out how my scores stack up against other xbox one users.

I wonder how many players on the PGA/Euro/Web.com/LPPGA Tours walked off the course this weekend cause they "didn't like the course"
Pathetic excuse, imo.

I'll admit I wasn't a fan of the course and was fairly vocal about it but as I've said before... on a real Tour you don't get to choose the venue. You just have to show up and play the course as it comes. Same with the whole wind waiting thing. I load up the tournament and play my 4 rounds (usually all in the same sitting) so whatever wind I get I just play it. If it's 25 MPH in my face, tough sh%$, that's the hand I'm delt. Maybe I'm just not competitive enough *shrugs*

My advice would be If you don't like the course then don't register, or withdraw before the tournament starts if you register before practice rounds.

Not attempting to play it though, to me, is kinda a cheap way out. I say play the venue, give it your best and let the final scores do the talking. If the tournament organisers see that people had gripes with the course selection and then have a higher scoring scoreboard to back that up... in my mind that might have more of an impact on future course selections than just not showing up altogether. I ended up shooting a 65 on one round of that course when the wind died down... so it was possible to put in a good score... it was just personal preference that I thought some of the slopes were on the extreme. Bear in mind as well, I'd been playing the Champions Tour where the courses were a little more on the tame side and cuts weren't an issue.

Play the course selected. You never know, you might learn something

I have not had a WD yet and think its bad form to register for a tournament and not submit your rounds. I do understand people get busy. Life is hectic. I'm sure most have good intentions but things happen. I think the problem with taking people's cards away is many just won't come back. Maybe get some volunteers to email the repeat offenders and see what is going on and why this is always happening?

From leaderboard watching back when doing the Champions tour newsletter, I've always been fascinated by 'no-posts'. I don't think it's any one thing, but likely a combination of a bunch of things:
- you register in advance, 'blind', and you later you find you don't like the course/etc. A lot of times you may not discover this until the registration is locked and properly withdrawing from the field is no longer an option - in any given week I'm sure there are a certain % for whom 'stuff happens': real life, connectivity issues, hardware issues, user error in posting, etc. Since you can register weeks in advance, sometimes the 'stuff happens' long after you registered or even thought about it. - you might know you have a tight timing window in advance, but then it doesn't happen as you plan (real life example: I'm on holiday from Mar 25-Apr 2nd. I'll register for the tourney that runs from Mar 30-Apr 5, but will really only have a very small window on Apr 2nd to do rounds 1/2. Any small wrinkle could easily result in a no-post from me that week) - Some folks just don't take things as seriously as others, and if they don't play, or don't play well in R1/R2, they just don't bother - A temporary one, with the new flights on Web/Champions, some people might have been re-assigned to flights and they didn't pay attention. So a former Champ tour player is now in Web, but they played in the champions tour tournament this week
So I think it's a bunch of things at play, and it's not unreasonable to expect a certain 'clump' of no-posts in any given week. On average it seems to float around 10-12% of any field.

On average it seems to float around 10-12% of any field. That doesn't sound too terribly bad

It's generally not. But Web A last week was 20% of the field, which is high, but it seems to be a bit of an outlier.

My single "WD" to date was Wk09 (Web B Chile Classic). Played all 4 rounds turn based live with Pingzing2.. unfortunately we played over 2 sessions though!! We played rounds 1 & 2 then quit to submit our scores.... Once we knew we had made the cut, we reconvened but the software placed us back on the Round One 1st tee We agreed to play 2 more rounds & both PM the tournament director (Doyley) to let him know. Neither of us received a reply though & it turns out; we should have emailed commish@tgctours.com. as per the rules.
By the way, this is why, if you check the results page for that tourney - you'll see us both WD but earnings alongside our names. We tested the software again last week, but I didn't make the cut.... Even so, when Pinzing2 went to continue (solo) he was again put on the 1st round 1st tee & he had to chuck in an email. Safe to say, we won't be playing any more tourneys "turn based live," which is a great shame because it was lots'a fun. Maybe HB will iron out the glitch, but until they do - no point risking a WD.

Turn based live works fine as long as you both start the round separately then add your playing partner to the game the problem occurs when you invite some to the round the get put into the first round its a pest hope Hb sorts it out

Imo we need more courses like Lunenberg. The scores are alot more realistic overall. Im just wondering why on the Euro there are about 5 really good golfers that only have there 1st two rnds. posted, but it doesnt say DQ or WD by there names??? Rnd. 3 shouldve been posted. Just curious they are all good.

Round 3 and 4 deadline is tonight. There is not specific deadline just for round 3. Round 3 and 4 scores are just due before the end of the tournament. You can check out the rules on the main site. Thanks!

The other night I was playing with Matt and Doyley in a casual round and Tim joined later. I stopped on the green and went to add him to the game (not invite...add) and when I got back, my character was no longer in his putting stance...I had to change clubs and change back to putter in order to be able to putt...but it added an extra stroke to my score for that hole.
