So I have started on my course after drawing a layout on graph paper for the last 4 months since Rookie contest. This is in between designing Inkoma River and judging WCoD. I have now abandoned the layout in graph paper as I couldn't get the river right to then design the holes around. I have something similar though and have mostly done the land sculpting.
18 holes are routed and 4 laid out and play quite nicely. I have learnt from my rookie contest feedback and avoid "pinching" the landing zones.
Greens and bunkers of course need more sculpting and of course planting which will be done last so it doesn't slow down PS4 too much.
I am not sure about showing pics but I have been taking some screenshots just in case I decide on it later.
The front 9 is going to more open and the back 9 on other side of river is going to have more hills and ridges obstructing views of other holes.
I also have the lighting better too so it is not directly above and also haze and fog.
