Well that was a strange morning's golf - playing both this event and TST at the same track.....but what a difference in performance.....mostly on the greens..
Complete and utter lack of ability on them in this event - I reckon my medium putt % cannot be higher than 50 for sure - must have missed 10+ inside that 10ft mark, and that doesn't cut it.
I actually can't even remember what I finished, it was that bad over the 36 holes.
Then went straight to TST, and in tougher conditions produced an excellent, consistent performance, bogey-free.
Jekyll and Hyde for sure.

-20 through two.
One double bogey in each round - underplayed the wind @ 5 in R1 and then had a slow d/swing @ 15 in R2. Both of them hit the grass verges and bounced diagonally into the drink.
Apart from that is was ok.
Think i'll make the cut?

Those putting stats are bugged. If you slammed 10 4 footers beyond the cup, most of those balls will roll beyond 5 feet and thatโs the distance computed not the pre-putt distance. Dumb. Itโs like they never error checked the game.

59 Round 3.
Yet again ruined by a very slow downswing. This time into the tiny pond to the right of the 3rd fairway. Will probably be the only person who manages to end up there.
Three off the tee and had to make an eagle just to make par.

Pair of -3's, no clue if my shots were going to go left or right. I should stick to Train Sim World as at least I can drive straight on that.
May as well combine flicking and pushing into one and call it the Flush Tour from now on.

60 to finish - 41 under total
All over the place. Two eagles inc a hole out, tempo issues, weird swing lines, missed 6 footers. And some fine golf in between.
Next....

Bogeyed the 18th in the 2nd round to finish - 16. Hopefully no mark.
Actually I played pretty good until the last 7-8 holes. I was -17 after 29 holes when all of a sudden almost every iron shot was "fast".
A little bit disappointing after finishing 5th in last week's minor event.

Played quite well but putted poorly, think this course will get destroyed in these conditions, would like to make a cut up here with a full field.. Not sure if -22 will make it... at least I know I played it by trying to hit full and straight just canโt get my head round these push and pull purpose shots, but each to there own
-8. -14. -11 - 9 42 total

Practiced this course a few times this week, got my bag adjusted to suit my game, was ready. Then started with 3 birdies feeling good then went on a par run rest of the front. Then slowly started working my way to -8 on 17 tee thinking I can salvage a -10 and I put it in the water. Not sure how the wind pushed it that far. I was -6 after that and pissed so I ended up parring 18. Started R2 thinking I needed a really good round and I was able to muster a -14. Whew, think it should make the cut So I finished tourney -6,-14,-13,-9 for -42. Probably around 30th

Wish I didn't have the mental fortitude of Sergio Garcia.
Was excited for this one. PGA National is one of my favorite courses in the world and I've played well here in casual rounds leading up to it. Started birdie-birdie and then get to the very eagleable 3rd. I get a very fast driver... I mean very fast where the line was almost at the middle of the circle. Completely out of nowhere. I probably average maybe 2 or 3 swings a tournament that aren't perfect tempo on the follow through yet I randomly get these completely glitched out very fasts once or twice every tournament for the last month or so. And I promise you these aren't on me. I can basically always feel a slow or fast when it happens. So I was tucked behind trees and eventually made a bogey on the easiest hole of the entire tournament. I couldn't recover and played mediocre the rest of the the round for a 63 and cut watching.
But then I turned it on the the next two rounds with an awesome 55 in the tough second round to make the cut and a 57 in the third round. Got me back in an okay position.
But then the 4th round I messed it up again. Was playing well before a 3-putt from 5 feet for bogey late on the front 9. Idk what happened there. The ball came off my putter way off line on back to back putts and it killed my momentum. I still fought back outside of another bogey on the back and shot a mediocre 60.
-46 overall but if I can just eliminate these bad holes that mess up my entire round, I feel like I'm close to competing for a win.

-49 for me.
My own fault. No warm up after working all day.(i will never learn!).
Hit loads of slow downswings thru all 4 rounds (mostly with wedges) i hit the green but was 40ft away usually and i just couldnt get right tempo i wanted on 18th approach at all. Played a par 5 level par for 4 rounds ๐ (hero golf in scuba gear) ๐ But played some really really good shots in patches and actually really enjoyed playing for the first time in ages. Stick my ghost on if you like bipolar golf๐๐๐ Horseshoe'd 17 and 18 in rd 4 to break -50 but onwards and upwards. Im working on my winds atm and the push shot when fully lofted or delofted is ridiculously accurate! shots id of never taken on before i have confidence in taking on now and they work as long as i hit tempo ๐. Good luck all!!!

I play straight up. I adapted after one pull.
Interesting reading on those that have villified the short swingers are now okay with playing a different exploit.
