I was quite pissed off with only -25 this week with loads of bogies and a 6 on a par 3 in round 1! But reading this thread I'm quite pleased now 🤣🤣🤣

I decided against waiting for the round two scores to see what I needed to make the cut, I did not want to put myself under extra pressure. Slow, steady, deliberate and risk free golf was the name of the game and it paid off with 5 birdies on the front nine. The back nine I found tougher and my only bogey of the round came on 14. I had a bit of luck on the back nine though, a hole out eagle and a chip in on the last kept my score card ticking over. - 9 for the round, -13 for the cut, which I think should make it.

-5 -8
No clue what this does but considering I missed 56 of 57 cuts its a safe bet to get around me if you want to see Saturday.

Well with -11 looking about 40/60 to make it I'd better play! Really hoping it hangs on but fearing the worst. And it'll be a shame because I shot a good one in the wind of round 3. Despite a double at 2 I ended up with a 63 to get to -20, I think that will make a good move up the leaderboard if I'm still on it. Those last 2 holes in round 2 are haunting me.

I had pretty decent swings those first two rounds honestly. I can never seem to get past the 3 or 4 complete dumbass decisions I make each week which is usually the difference between playing four rounds and playing just two. Cannot say I am overly thrilled with having to play this course two more times but if it puts some extra loot in my pocket at the end of the week I'm good. I am not doing very well making a living off being a tour professional.

You can add a few more to that up mup kupen nup, round 4 now also done. Had an interesting time on hole 2 this week, this one redressed the balance a little bit... Played really well on the front 9, missed a few chances coming home but didn't give any away to end up with my best round of the week. 68, 65, 63, 62 to finish on -30 Shame those last two probably won't count for anything but the WSACOW Cup! Still got everything crossed but I wish I was 5 places higher.

Where are they all coming from?! That's now 170 on the KF leaderboard and rising, NOT good for those of us clinging on to the cut line. 59th and dropping.....

And that'll be that for those of us on -11. Two guys who popped up at -5 both went to -12, there's 7 others a lot closer, our only hope now is some no-shows. So frustrating, I think I'd have been on for a decent finish with those last 2 rounds.
I think I may have had a bit of a eureka moment this week though. I've sat and held the controller in exactly the same way since the TGC1 days but from messing about play testing in the designer I may have found another way. I changed half way through this week and shot those 2 rounds plus a few good society rounds, hitting the ball much straighter and even my tempo seemed better. And no, it doesn't involve any pushing or pulling! Time will tell, but I'm looking forward to next week....

Usual roller-coaster of emotions this week chaps
Round 1, First Tee - Super confident End of Round 1 - Finished -4. Swung the club perfectly but wasn't getting inside 15' F*ck it, i'll carry on and play Round 2 5 under after 7 holes, OK this is more like it, another 5 birdies and i'm back in the hunt for the cut Birdies dried up and got Golf rage on the 13th. Finished -4
Walked away thinking i'm over this expecting to be at least 10 shots off the cut, and that i'll leave to try and be competitive in CC. However if i'd kept my head then the cut was easily achievable!
I'm -8 after 2 rounds. Unlikely to play the final 2 rounds because the internet isn't working
Going forwards i will be playing my opening rounds MUCH later in the week

Unlikely to play the final 2 rounds because the internet isn't working Going forwards i will be playing my opening rounds MUCH later in the week From page 1 of this thread: "I learned in TGC1 that one of the most important things about playing a Crazy Canuck course is to keep your head. You've just got to accept that you're going to hit what you think are good shots only to watch them turn out to be very bad shots. Thank God for the fast forward button, it used to be tortuous!" Live and learn, you aren't the first person to get beaten by the rage on a Crazy Canuck course and I doubt you'll be the last! I've certainly been there. Word has it the CIA used to make suspected terrorists play Canuck greens until they talked, much more effective than water boarding. Meanwhile, me and tore caught a break, I'd genuinely given up on it when we went down to 61st with 7 guys breathing down our necks. Not sure how many of them didn't play round 2 but good news for us! Shows what a good tournament course this is when you can go from scraping through the cut to the top 20 with a good round. You can't do that on courses like the set up last week where you need to keep making birdies just to keep up.

If I never see that course again I'll be happy, 67-71 MC (-6)
Fantastic to see a really tough test this week, at no point was I up to task. Continually fell victim to a P/S swing in R2 and with the right miss being a death sentence on that course I was doomed
