Bit of a disappointing finish. Probably a bit of an understatement. 3rd round was characterised by off tempo shots and a hot putter. Hit it miles off line, putter drops a few birds or par saves. Probably should be happy with -7 considering. Could have been a LOT worse. Went straight back out for 4th round, got a fast down off the 1st tee and then hb flipped the switch and the off tempo shots stopped. Just like that. And the putter stayed hot, run of 9 birdies on the opening 9. And then a missed 9 footer on the 10th, another 9 footer miss on 11, lost connection for a few minutes playing 13th, reconnected, 6 footer miss on 14, 5 footer miss on 15 - leading to 3 putt bogey - eventually dropped a 7 footer for bird on the 18th. Yay. -9 front 9, evens back 9. smh. Had I had a thicker wallet i'd probably have thrown the controller somewhere. One day... -41 for the cup Really enjoyed the course.

Having missed the cut I won't be finishing, I hope you don't mind? If it's a problem let me know and I'll have to make a decision. I only have a certain amount of time each week for this joyous (infuriating) 'hobby' and I'm quite in to the designer at the moment when I haven't got rounds to play. Finished off my 12th green last night

Having missed the cut I won't be finishing, I hope you don't mind? Of course not. Only consequence is that it will be 0 points for the week.

I'm sorry Art, but I can't tell you about that. I will have to contact Crazy Croc as well for reminding him that one does not talk about fight club. In your particular case, it won't work anyway, as the We Stand A Chance Of Winning Cup is a secret league where players golfing under the Zimbabwean flag are not allowed to participate because Mugabe's wife possesses too many luxury watches that the admin is envious of.

And Oh, if that isn’t me sitting nicely at T3! That is a very indirect way of reporting your final score

Honestly, was a tiny bit disappointed in the tournament this week. Playing off the front tees with no PIN variation made the course quite toothless IMO, as this is our only "Major" of the year I would have thought a stretched out 7,900 course off the back tees would have been the set up to really test the players. Perhaps it was just an error in tournament setup, which given the tremendous work to run TGC Tours, I can forgive in a heartbeat.
Golf wise, terrible putting in R2 cost me a really good score, 59-65-60-61 (-43) should hopefully get me somewhere in the top 30, was on the verge of something special in R3 (-10 after 10) but only made 2 more birdies coming in.

Shame about that second round David The tournament was supposed to be off the back tee’s and obviously different pins each round but the setup glitched on loading. Having played from the back tee’s I can tell you that rounds of 59 wouldn’t have happened!

I cannot tell you how much this helped my morning, Thanks Kevin. BTW if it helps none of the watches work.

Cheers for clarifying, I practiced the course a few times off the back and that would have been a stern examination of anyone’s game.

A steady but unspectacular-11 for round three. Not the most exciting round I have played, no dramatic moments but another decent bogey free round.
