If you put the PS4's IP address in the DMZ?

There isn't a simple way for console users currently, in fact there's no guarantee it's even possible. It would involve forcing your router to transfer traffic on a specific port using only the TCP protocol. Hmmm... not good. The biggest problem I see personally for me is, that I'm anything but a big expert when it comes to router related stuff.

Again it may not cure, but it's better, and most routers are easy to do this. Mine was as simple as selecting and hitting save.

I think you need to put a disclaimer on this taste. Like if you are hitting shots in the red but they are taking off like you were wayy in the black then do this fix. I think a lot of people are misjudged by what a ball squirt is. I mean if you have a 7 wind at nine o'clock and you aim right with your 5 iron but the ball goes right where you aimed that is not a squirt that is a miss hit on either your back swing or you misread your lie in the fairway. Now if you hit the same shot and swung in the red and your ball is on the other side of the right bunker then you probably squirted.
I tested out the fix and the game played the exact same.

I can categorically say that the -tcp command does nothing in the game. I've just done a search through the code to make sure as well. We did find a bug though, where when replaying shots the ball lie would change

Also for those console owners, port forwarding on your router does nothing to solve this issue either.

I think he's asking if there might be a bug that assigns an incorrect slope to the ball lie, even on tees.

Yes I agree with that. I was going based on the bug he said that they found. "We did find a bug though, where when replaying shots the ball lie would change My thought was if the lie changed during the replay, that maybe the lie in the replay was in fact the correct lie (or the lie the game was actually basing the swing off of rather) The lie we thought we had (flat on a tee box) the game was not recognizing as flat (when it should be). It would be a coding error. And yes I realize I am talking completely out of my arse with this guesstimation but it could make sense, maybe possibly perhaps?!?! LOL I deal with this everyday at work and deal with developers all day as well, so I am just throwing ideas out there and hoping maybe something sticks
