Congratulations on your past victory. I found the field and conditions very difficult. Challenger. Do you choose only the field or also the conditions (wind direction, green, etc.)? I am on the mark (again) of going to PGA - but I think I will have nothing to do there. The only advantage is the forum is much more participatory than the EURO. As I haven't played this week yet, if I do I hope to just pass the cut. I cannot imagine how tough it would be to schedule for the PGA and deal with the weekly shitstorm of hate. Has to ruin the fun for you coruler. Toddfather you have it easy by comparison, only a handful of us even post on here and rarely blame the course! My take on scheduling... I was asked to help the community and I said yes. As this is my first year in this position, I'm still getting used to it. Have I made mistakes, of course. I will surely make more. I'm not looking for a pat on the back, I'm just trying to put out appropriate courses that are fun and challenging for the European Tour. That being said, I'm always open to suggestions. The guys that post here in the Euro threads have been great 99% of the time and I appreciate that. I know there will be criticisms but that's ok. I know it's not reality to expect everyone to be happy. My hope is that this year will be a positive experience and if I'm asked back next year that I can once again help this community. Most of us are competitive people, but let's not forget that we are playing a VIDEO GAME, which is put together by volunteers that charge their members exactly $0! The admins do a fantastic job keeping this TGCTours a fun place to come back to. I appreciate their hard work on our behalf.

Got my final round in and again I left a lot out there with several missed birdie putts under 12 feet. But...I ran a long birdie in, had 2 chip in birdies, and another decently long birdie putt in from the fringe. I guess it kind of equaled itself out and I finished -10
-12 -12 -7 -10
-41 total

That drivable par-4 thirteenth is a really fun hole.

Another missed cut for me. I’ve completely lost the plot.

The extended break through December and the new year has really affected me I’ve now missed 3 cuts in a row since the break. Need to practice a bit more I think because right now I’m struggling everywhere.

Disaster week for me. Just couldn’t hit the ball straight and missed every putt over 10 feet.
That’ll be a missed cut for this guy.

Really loved the course and setup this week. I doubt my -18 will make the cut, but hoping it does...want to get back out and play my last 36 and see if I can climb a few spots on the leaderboard

Well, except here I am saying "thanks a lot" My suggestion/take- I'd rather have a birdie fest or "easy" course, that plays genuinely, than a manufactured difficulty type course where luck can come into play on some holes. I'll never be near the top with either setup! In fact possibly further away with the birdie fest courses; but I want to enjoy my rounds and feel I earned whatever score I get.

Thanks man, appreciate your thoughts. As far as the courses go, it's not my intent to torture you guys week in and week out, but this is the Euro Tour. One step away from the toughest tour we have. The courses shouldn't be pushovers in my opinion. My goal is challenging, fun courses. Some will be harder then others obviously but intentional birdie fest probably won't be in the rotation. Some turn into that because to the sheer quality of players at this level.

It was a more subtle point, like you're choosing between two kind of thing, and one you think MIGHT be on the easier side of things, and one you've spotted two or three things that MIGHT annoy people a bit; my preference would be the easier one. But I hear you on the need for difficulty. My "issue" doesn't come up that often! Was just having my little two cents worth
