Round 2 was much rougher than round 1 with the pin placements. I hit the ball pure as the driven snow all day and ended up with a dozen 10-20 foot birdie putts with wicked break on them. Lots of tap-in pars. At least until the middle of the back 9, which was ridiculous. 14 and 15, I hit approaches to about 10-15 feet, missed the birdie putts by a hair, and ended up with 10-15 foot par putts due to the green contours/pin locations. Back to back bogeys.
I played MUCH better than in round 1 and ended up with a -6, two shots worse than R1. I really love the way this course is set up, so imaginative. However, I am borderline dreading playing it in Dirtbags play. Much like the first three courses this season, I can't put up a number on it.

Rd 1 -4 Rd 2 -5 Nice course. Has a lot more soul than the CC-Pro course this week even if some of it is evil. I like courses that look like they exist in the real world and Broken Arrow looks like it exists in my eyes. Don't think that it needs more dressing up, Not many course have lighthouses or windmills on or near them. There's only one course near me that has a lighthouse any where near it. Like the clubhouse, makes a change for someone to do something different When I was playing the 2nd rd, the leaderboard was saying that I'm tied for 3rd, but who was tied with me as there was only 3 names on the PS4 leaderboard at the time?? Dressing up isn't necessarily just adding buildings but can be a few trees with bushes, rocks, plants, paths and fences. It can create a focal point that is viewed from different holes and gives you a reference point for the course. I liked what Doume6307 done with the trees on the hill on the first hole as that created a focal point that can be seen from other holes. This can give you a feel for the layout as you go around the course.

Interesting quirky course that Broken Arrow Dom... Plenty of variety.... strategic planing required... Tough but fair in those settings. My favourite thing though was the Sky Blue PC clubhouse flag sticks... awesome work SkyBlueBen

jwtexan That is a Dirtbag selected course. We had a competition between our designers, Broken Arrow won, and Daniel (catcheman22) allowed the winner to be our year end tourney course. Our team competition will be held that week. An honor that all of CC-pro will play it as well.

Played both rounds and the front nine kicked my ass but... I am now ready to admit that despite being Dom’s course biggest critic during the selection process for our end of year course, the course is definitely growing on me. In fact, I’m ready to admit that I was wrong and that it is a nice, challenging course.
Still think I’m right about my pixel golfer’s clothes being stylish though! 😉

Early Leaderboard up and it's bloody close!! Mar with a c Crazy Croc and Mar with a k IGolfBad are the early pacesetters. Great to see plenty of positive feedback on Dom's track. It's going to make a great setting for the End of Season Dog Fight as billybudd0623 and his golfing mates describe what we're about to serve up for your pleasure. (Only includes players that have completed the tournament)

SkyBlueBen I played my first round on PS4. Anything else you need that you don't already know? billybudd0623 I had an old man moment at the end of round 1. Instead of just backing out, I hit advance to round 2. Can someone tell me the green firmness for the second round? Firm old man, firm. Isn't that a contradiction in terms?
