I did not play smart until the back 9 and clawed my way to an opening -8. Followed up with a -6 to get to -14 for the weekend. That was a tough course for me...doubt thatâs good enough for the weekend

Looks set to be back to back missed cuts for me for the first time in a long, long time. This week was just amateur stuff from me. -5 and -2 littered with too many mistakes. It sounds weird but Iâm not confident at all rn over the ball. Pushing it out to the right a lot and just not seeing the putts drop.
Need to put some work in and get myself out of this funk.

Another week and another blazing start. Was off to an -8 through 10 and then cooled down on the back nine. Bogey on the last put me at -10 for the first round.
Second round conditions were dialed up, just really really tough! Struggled to a -3 front and then missed a lot of putts on the back including a 6 footer for birdie on 18 that would have taken me to -7 for the round.
Sitting at -16 after two and hoping thatâll be enough with the tough round 2 conditions.

I started off the tourney with eagle bird bird to be -4 thru 3. Then....Bogey the par 5. LOL!
-8 -7 -15 at the cut.
Thinking a cut line of -14. I think I may squeak in. However, wouldn't be shocked if the cut is -15.
Good luck guys!

Took a nice 3 month break from the tours because, why try and compete with an Xbox console...........but it's the Tours, one of the few reasons this game stays important. First round, -10. Things looking great! Second round, -3 after 3. Hole 4: VF into the water, double bogey. Hole 5: VF into the water, double bogey. Very late save on 16-18 with birdies. Ended second around at -4. Should make the cut. Xbox tempo roulette means different downswing and upswing EVERY TIME, makes it impossible to play competitively against the other two easier platforms. Fantastic course and selection toddfather absolutely love it! Zero point in playing the Tours and staying remotely close to competitive on Xbox console.

Woof.... played my final two rounds at -5 total, so -21 for the tournament. Agree with Jason, excellent course and selection but god damn that was tough. Not sure if maybe i just forgot how to play this game or the conditions were that difficult in the last 2 rounds, but felt like every drive ended up in the rough (no light rough is just maniacal) and the greens were rolling like granite. moneyman273, does not playing Tours give us hope at another season of 24k? We're all fiending for some competition and you run an incredible society.... the masses want to know!

as a designer this thread has been really quite nice! I didn't set the conditions other than suggesting some wind and direction but it's good to know the course is holding up and playing fair. When things are hard and dry it can be tricky for sure. Carry on gents!

I squeaked into the weekend with a -8, -6 and the struggles continued once I got to the weekend. Shot -5 and -7 to close out at -26.
Final round I had a first for me. Drove the green on the par 4 1st and ended up with a 3 putt bogey. A 3 putt bogey on a par 4 after driving the green? Yes...I had roughly a 85 foot putt for eagle that I putted at about a 45 ft pace and that flew by the hole like a rocket and wound up with a 20 yard chip left to get back on the green...and then 2 putt from there.
Overall conditions were tough and mostly fair but those high winds with such hard terrain and pin placements were so tough. Especially some of those up front that you have to land short then the ball would bounce around like a pinball...could be on the green...could be 40 yards away in a bunker. I had a couple I hit purposely right of the green that ended up in bunkers way to the left đ¤ˇââď¸

-9, -8, -4, -9. That third round was my downfall this week. A really challenging course, but I enjoyed it. I tend to have more fun when we play the difficult courses and conditions. Great job to the designer in making a course thatâs tough but fair and really nice visually.
Iâll take a top 25(hopefully) and see what happens next week. Good luck all.

Congrats on your win! You got out of the gate strong Exactly what I shot in round 4. I honestly thought it had cost me the tourney.
