Big name missing this morning... 1st time in my memory too 😕
He usually doesn’t strae too far from the top of the leaderboard.
Hope you get it fixed up.
EDIT - Also, great to see Momo up there on the leaderboard again this week, fresh off his 5th DQ of the season.

Come on Fadge, give me a -70. I’ll do my best, but have a feeling that it won’t be enough even if I do get there!! Which is insane......lowers my fire to play this week =P

Well I’m not even close to a short swinger in any way shape or form and anyone can see that from rounds I’ve streamed on twitch @ the_duke21 but I guess I do hit it pretty straight and have been hitting it really straight lately. Still my first pull in 5 years on this tour. And I’m not too sure on why it would’ve been this week, didn’t play incredibly well, hit a few outside the cones. Anyone have a clue why I would’ve gotten hit? Just wondering if other non short swingers with stock controllers have been pulled before.

Might be that your particular DS4 you used this week has worn a groove. Enough of your shots were within the same small section of the plane to get flagged. There are pulls for that as well as being "too straight" and I would gather that a bulk of PS4 pulls are for this rather than "too perfect/straight" and are just a bit right of center. Your mileage may vary, though.
I would recommend that you work with Admin within the 'Fair Play Assistance' area of the General forum section. Jeff (the GOAT) often handles them.

Yeah made a post in there. I bough this new stock gold dualshock in early December and have been using it since. I’ll be the first to admit I have really straight lines most of the time for someone that is a full bottom to top of the circle swinger but it’s never flagged in the past so it’s a bit surprising. Maybe I’ll give the analog stick some good whacks before my next tournament. Played my TST rounds the next morning and looks like those were fine.
I guess this is where the API can get ugly and weird outside of intentional cheating or even short swinging. Can we be flagged for swinging too straight or too consistently? I remember HB devs told us on the first TGC it would catch swings that a human input could never do.

Rounds one and two in the books at -14 and -17. Missed some makeable putts that will cost me contending, but have enjoyed both rounds so far. The high winds and fast greens are the only defense Pebble has, and if they don't appear the winning score will be well north of -60 again.

As I understand it, the fair play policy here at TGCT looks for both too straight and too consistent and can flag either/both. I don't want to put words into Admins mouth here, so I would work with Jeff/Admin. He/they will explain your particular situation better than I can. I am speaking in relative generalities here. It might be your newish gold pad that is getting you in trouble. Maybe you can further test in another TGCT event this week with different DS4's as Admin can see those as well?!
Good luck and hope you can get this sorted out.

Played my first two rounds and went -14 and -11. I "think" that gets in for the weekend, but we shall see.

Thanks. Looks like it was a too straight issue from the reply I got. Kind of a weird thing to work on but I guess I need to free the swing up a little bit.

Yes I was two weeks ago, same scenario first pull in 5 years, stock DS4 controller, no short swing or other dodgy stuff. The reason being that my approach shots all had near to the same accuracy value, which in other words means too straight I guess. So I bought a new stock DS4 controller which I'm using now and hopefully should be fine, I did a test round which looked OK according to the admin. Tempo is quite different on the new controller for some reason but I'm starting to get used to it, not going to make the cut this week for sure.

I just watched a bit of your Twitch stream from your win on TST, and I can see why this pad is getting flagged up... It's night and day from what most of us can achieve with any consistency, particularly when lofting shots. I liken this to what happened to me at the start of TGC2019 - I've always been able to swing the club pretty straight, but before we got going with the season I was advised that my pad was going to cause problems. The game just seemed to be like shelling peas it was so easy, and looking back, I can see why that was. For me, it was an old pad that I used from TGC2 that must've had some sort of wear in over the years. Seems like those issues can exist in new pads too, which sucks. As a comparison, how much easier do you find it to play the game, hit the lofted shots etc with the new pad? As Bob mentioned, best thing is to work on it with the admin team, play a bit of Euro with a different pad or something and get some feedback, but good luck with trying to swing worse, unless you're rebuilding your swing, then it is what it is!! Unless that pad loosens up considerably, I'd be surprised if it doesn't land you in trouble again if you continue to go all out for wins Appreciate the open dialogue from you guys that are obviously not short swingers.

Is it sad that I secretly hope my scores get pulled someday? Seems to be the distinction between a top player and medium player around these parts... 😜🧐😔🙄
Maybe someday.

I've been pulled twice this season for my putts being too straight with two different stock DS4 controllers, so it's 100% possible to get pulled just by playing normally and fully within the realm of human capability. Pretty frustrating, if you ask me. Not like I'm just going to deliberately start hitting wonky putts just to avoid getting DQ'd. *shrugs*

TO get pulled by the API, you have numbers that are just not humanly possible to achieve.. either you're doing something baddddddd (which you aren't), or there is something wrong with the controller. Either way, you may feel you're playing normally, but your controller is providing you an advantage that you may or may not feel is actually an advantage... but the numbers don't lie.
