Lol Crazy Croc, so dramatic! -16 is safe enough, I wouldn't lose hope at -15 just yet. Nice round though! I wasn't too unhappy to see that putt slide by because it keeps you one behind me... For now...

-5 for round one, to many silly mistakes and terrible putting. -11 round two, played really well but a double bogey on the 9th might come back to haunt me.

I'd still be fairly confident on -16. Thankfully I'm -17 so don't have to worry I'm now in the clubhouse with a well earned beer. Played pretty well in the tough conditions in round 4 but let it get away from me at the end. I've found the front 9 tough all week and 7 my nemesis in particular - +3 on that hole for the week. Hit some really good putts which didn't quite drop and reached the turn at -1 feeling like I'd played it a lot better than that. Then birdied 10, 11, 13 and 14 before finally getting one to drop on 16, a beauty of a long eagle putt to get to -7. I was pretty happy with my lot at that point, but got a bit of bad luck on 17 when my birdie putt slid past the edge and trundled off the green. Managed to then play the 18th like it was the first time I'd ever played this game and dropped another one to end with a 67. -30 for the tournament, solid but unspectacular, which will probably be written on my gravestone. Not just now though, you'll have to put up with my ramblings for a while yet! Not sure where this puts me in our little group? I second the notion that if I miss the cut I'm unlikely to play the last two rounds. My time is fairly limited and I'm trying to produce another crap course when I don't have rounds to play. Good luck all, see you next week!

I remember the good old days when 10-12 under was a safe assumption to make the weekend. These whipper snappers now have that much after 9 holes. Threw myself back into the mix this week and everything was golden. Making eagles, dropping 30 footers, tempo was on the money. Came in after round 1 at -11. Had a beer at the clubhouse with some HB representative and he must spiked by drink when took a piss. Tempo went to hell, putts would not drop, and another weekend missed after a -3 second round. See ya again in a month or two. 😎

Finished my remaining two rounds yesterday evening. I saved rhino4life's second round for my last. In round 3, an eagle on the 16th saved an not so overwhelming round. Round 4 was horrible, I couldn't deal with the wind, and the challenging slopes did the rest. Had -7 and -3, which gives me -30 for the week. I must admit that I am slightly disappointed after such a good start. When scoring low in round one, I always tend to extrapolate and expect a stellar performance for the whole tournament, forgetting that a different pin set can have a considerable impact.

In all seriousness, I have a terrible course to finish in the designer and then i’ll Concentrate on making some cuts and improving my game.
PS - If you haven’t played any of Giraffes courses then look them up, he’s very good

-5 for round three which does not in any way reflect on how I played. I was shocking, missed a easy four foot putt, which is the true reflection on the way I played this round. More importantly, full marks on my coding and maths assignments, and yes I said maths, none of this math shite Americans talk about.
