Cough cough - not a bad start to the rivalry series Kevin, great 1st round Thank you! It certainly was one of those rounds where everything dropped, no matter the slope. I was at -10 after 10, which is easily my best start to a KF tournament round so far. I'm currently sitting at -20 halfway through the week. In terms of rivalry, I currently have three entrants registered ( Riotous, fransslabak , Crazy Croc ). This is already great. Looking forward to the competition! Of course, registration is still open until the end of this week's tournament, so feel free to join! Good luck! I'm in....I need the extra rounds practice when I miss the cut 😂 Started this week with an -8 which should have been -10 but 2 bogies cost me! 2nd round much tougher conditions on these tight fairway landing zones but somehow managed to hit a -10.....halfway through -18 and hoping for safety due to the tougher 2nd round maybe catching a few people out this week. Cheers

-9 Rd 1 - happy with that, conditions weren’t hard but you still had to play well -4 Rd 2 - couldn’t get going, I struggle to get close when the wind picks up Missed cut
Gents- very keen to continue the rivalry but have no interest playing another 2 rounds once the cuts missed. Can I suggest a points system, first place gets 1pt, second 2pts etc, fewest points at the end of the season wins? That way I don’t have to play all 4 rounds each week!

Ok guys, shall we compare our 4-round-scores by giving points and accumulating them over the weeks? A simple system to keep the motivation up. Who‘s in? If interested, please drop your total score here (no screenshot needed) and confirm your participation. I'll have some of that action!

The final round was difficult with heavy wind. Managed -10 after a poor start. Enjoyed that course (I enjoy the courses I do well on).

Wow, didn't expect so much interest. That's great! In terms of points, I'd suggest doing it like Riotous suggested, but the other way around: Not finishing all four rounds equals 0 points, then start with 2 points for the worst finisher, and then adding 1 point for each position. The only drawback is that this method equalizes all non-finishing players... But on the other hand, it's just something very basic for a bit of added fun, so I guess it's ok like that. Current list of participants is: Riotous, Crazy Croc, fransslabak, aron7, Giraffe72, tore, and me, of course.

Two rounds in. Good news is I'm regaining confidence with the putter after a rough few weeks. Bad news is all of a sudden I'm having a real battle with VF down swings. But all in all I'm fairly happy. First round started par, tap in eagle, par, tap in eagle. Saved the round to be honest, didn't make too much happen from there but didn't drop any shots and picked up a bird or two here and there. Sounds like Tiger Woods on tour! Second round I again managed to eagle the 2nd but had to do an awful lot of scrambling out of the cabbage the rest of the way round. Picked up a few but also 2 bogeys, after 15 I'm sitting at -5 and in danger of another short week. Thankfully played the last 3 well and finished with 3 birds including a beautiful curling 30 footer on 17. 63 and 64 to sit at -17. My gut feeling is that will be a shot clear of the line but will be waiting for tomorrow's round 2 reveal with a little bit of trepidation... Another very nice course. Good luck all

I think I would like to join your rivalry but a few questions to all people involved first
1: What is your least favorite course theme? 2:What is your least favorite green speeds? 3: What is your least favorite firmness settings? 4; What is your least favorite wind settings? 5: Is there a course you would hate to see on tour?
These questions are for purely for market research, in no way will the answers be used against any one that beats me in the rivalry(assuming I am accepted) and there will be no facing of my wrath.

Sounds awesome! Here we go: 1: desert 2: 144 3: soft 4: i like all types of wind 5: a course combining 1-3 with big elevation changes. Glad I could help.

Still a bit nervous about the cut tomorrow, but played round 3 anyway. Not too much of a chore to be fair, I'm really enjoying the course Strangest round ever! Parred all the first 4 including the two par 5's which I was -7 on over the first 2 rounds. Not a great start. And then didn't have another par until 18! That's not all good though, 11 birdies were tarnished by a horrendous 3-putt from nowhere for a double on 7, and a horse shoe lip out on 12 for another dropped shot. Not one single VF in the round so that's something. 64, -25 thru 3. If I make the cut, mid table mediocrity for me. In my comfort zone! Round 4 tomorrow, depending on the news in the morning.

Dear Overlord, i appreciate you asking us for our preferences and i shall complain when (my preferences) they are not actioned 1: What is your least favorite course theme? No least favorite, but would like the theme to follow the schedule. If it's a World Tour then the Theme can change throughout the year, rather than Alpine then Desert then Alpine 2:What is your least favorite green speeds? Anything slower than medium 3: What is your least favorite firmness settings? No least favorite or favorite, HATE very firm/fast/very fast with pins on the front edge. Would be good if the course changed naturally over the four days of the tournament in line with the weather conditions 4; What is your least favorite wind settings? High / Very High. 1) I'm not good in these conditions, 2) How often is it ever that Windy 5: Is there a course you would hate to see on tour? Anything fantasy or unrealistic. It does not have to be Lidar or RCR but i do not enjoy MULTIPLE huge elevation changes throughout a course 6: Any minor change you'd like to see ? The weather and conditions report being accurate, even if only for the first couple of rounds ? Make it harder for the PGA by keeping it a surprise but let us hackers that want to have a practice round be able to do it in the correct conditions

Autumn - so last year!2. 144 and 187 - kinda have the most 'wow that did not break as much as expected' from one hole to 'wow, look at that bugger go' to the next hole head scratchers for me 3. If have to pick, probably soft, but not too fussed 4. Thought we always play 10mph? Anything other than 10 then 5. Nope

I'm happy with everything and enjoy the variety we get on all tours. The only proviso to that is slow greens, I'm crap on anything below about 160, just don't get it! But I'll put up with it until it gets to 133 and below, I don't think they belong on tour. Just my opinion.

Played rd 2. Looking like -17 to be in fairly cut made certain territory, needed -11 to get there. Pinged my tee shot on 1st into a plugged lie in the fairway bunker, started off with a bogey. Promptly birdied the next 4 as well as 7 and 9 to get to -5 at the turn. Only slightly behind target. Birdies on 10 and 12, rubbing my hands eagerly on reachable par 5 13th, slow backswing and barely reached 280y off the tee, 249 left to pin. 225y rated 2i no go, had to take the next in line 253 2w, take 2 putt bird from 49 feet out, bummer. Made up another shot on the 14th. Needed two more from last 4. 15th - probably carried 2 feet short from hitting it dead, but that 2 short feet meant backing off the green, chip-n-putt par. 16th, reachable par 5, yay, wind changed from 45 and helping to 90 and pushing, saw it too late, semi rough. Needed 234 to pin, about 24 ft up. Went with 225 club hoping for some golfing gods induced roll out, ran out of puff at 198, flop and putt bird. 17th, could only muster a 2 putt par, needed a bird on the show stopper 18th. Tough drive, hit the fairway, tough pin to get close to, hit it as good as I could have hoped for, left with 37 footer, 1 foot uphill putt to make the cut..... The joys of pixel golf...
