Looking forward to results show. I finish work at 1am local time 11:30am us eastern time so will still be awake to watch it. All courses are deserved winners and will be interesting to see who gets the nod from the judging panel. Probably one of the toughest contests or them to judge through the whole process. Good luck to top top 11.

Unfortunately, I’ve been called into work so I won’t be able to watch the livestream today (perks of working at a hospital during a pandemic). Good luck to my fellow designers and thanks to everyone who was involved. Never thought my course would be a finalist so no matter the results I’m very happy to just be in the top 11.

Big thanks to all the judges and the time they put into making this contest happen. No idea what the results are, nor do they really matter.

We (the community) almost always win, and if that isn't clear from this contest just wait until the Dream Team courses drop!

Last set of playthroughs from me below - in the end, Jeremy and I did one for every finalist for completion's sake. OK, lots of stuff here, so let's get into it.

First off, thanks to the TGCT staff and for VctryLnSprts (as a contest coordinator) for not looking at me like I was from another planet when I suggested we try a contest with a long design window and unlimited entries.

Thanks to b101 toddfather ryanmcconnell catcherman22 & CiB0RG for being crazy enough for taking on the task of judging this contest. All of these guys played at least half of the courses in the contest (some of them multiple times) and put countless hours into judging. We may not have always agreed within the war room, but all had valuable opinions and I know they had what they felt was the best interests of the community in mind when judging. Contestants, I hope the feedback you got from us was constructive and can help you in future projects, as that was the aim.

Thanks to jimgem and Avakrac for all the playthrough videos they did. Just from the sheer amount of courses, we couldn't get to them all, but they covered a lot of ground and were certainly not obligated to cover the contest courses. They agreed to help out and I hope the exposure they help give was beneficial to the contestants.

Thanks to all the contestants, even those who were unable to finish. No one had a clue what was about to unfold over the 5-month designing window as real-life issues had an impact on all of us. That we had two thirds of the registrants see the finish line was quite an accomplishment, given a field of this size and all the world events that unfolded.

ballysacorn4 andymike8 TannerBronson Crazycanuck1985 tpetro -- congrats on making the finals, though you didn't reach the top 5, you brought us excellent courses (to wit, 10 of the courses had at least one top 5 vote). You should be proud of your efforts.

arielatom gamesdecent mattf27 Energ1ser SindreRev -- Excellent showings and congrats on your top 5 finishes. All great courses with lots of replay ability and (as with the rest of the finalists and several other courses in the contest), I certainly hope these gems make it over to 2K21 in relatively short order.

grovey31 -- Congrats of the highest order. Well deserving champion. You're a low-key guy and can fly under the radar, but you are one of the top designers going right now and I appreciate that the judging panel recognized that talent.

Also, I want to thank the community. There have been times where results day has brought angst and animosity, but that didn't happen here. Love the sportsmanship and class shown by the vast majority of the contestants. There's plenty of room for ribbing and bantering too, heaven knows there's plenty of that in DT, but I appreciate how you have handled the results, and the feedback for those who have received it.

If anyone still wants their feedback, please shoot me a PM. I have access to all the info and will try to get that to you in a quick manner once it is requested.

Just watched the vod. Outstanding production and very entertaining. I could just have easily been watching the opener at The Masters listening to Mayo.

It's really quite amazing how much work you organisers/judges put into these contests - congrats.

You absolutely crushed this competition mayday_golf83 and crew! Impressive from top to bottom, and I hope you get a chance to take a break from the "details" of a contest for a while and have some fun designing.
