One last ridiculously shameless bump here. We had a run at it boys. But came up short. Good luck to those who advanced to the final four.
Hope everyone has gotten a few rounds in though to gear up for the next promo event in 2 weeks. Time to go fire up this cc course and get to work.
An edit post promo event:
Thanks to all for the plays. This was my first course to cross the 10k mark. Cheers guys.

Just got around to playing this course and I loved it. The textures and design detail where really creative. Thought this course really had everything. Congrats on making a run in the contest.

I was deathly afraid to face this course in knockouts, and although that didn’t get to happen, I would’ve been honored to lose to it. I really love this course and I can’t wait to see what’s next from you!

Late bump to let you know there is a Par 3 for society play now published (on xbox, so it could be a while for cross play availability)

Ported to 2k21. Made a few changes to make it more 2k21 friendly, but nothing major.

jwtexan Another bump. Just played it again - can't stop going back for more rounds. Love it. What were your lighting and weather settings for this one? I'm interested, just thought that the lighting really popped

Hey Charlie,
Appreciate your comments always. I think it's really a combo of spreading out the soft light on the autumn colors that made it work so well.
I don't mind sharing the settings at all. The one that seemed to make the biggest difference in spreading out the clouds and making them thin enough to let light through but wide enough to block out the bad light was "scale" and "definition" if I remember correctly, but it has been so long since I messed with it. Here are the exact settings:
Cloudiness 0.6 height 1.0 scale 0.0 definition 0.0 period 1.0 high clouds 1.0 thickness 1.0 haze 0.2 fog ceiling 0.2 fog density 0.0 lighting angle 20 degrees
I've done different variances of this light on every course since, with Bungalow being the brightest and Ballyhoo being the darkest. It just helps to kill some of the harsh things that away from the sun holes get on clear days.

Cheers Wes! Love a greyed-out sky for lighting, will experiment with it on the CC course

Ported to 2k21. Made a few changes to make it more 2k21 friendly, but nothing major. Moved it over to '23 as well. The lighting and what it does to trees in this game is horrific. Didn't test anything with the new club distances and from what I hear tougher green situation, so good luck out there.
