Oh, it's been done to death in the past (over 2 years ago), but for very different reasons. Previously, it was about the freedom to use whatever clubs you want, regardless of tour. The point of this post was, that now, after we've learned how bad the masters swing is for a) manipulation (various ways) and b) cross platform tempo parity ,whether or not anyone had a different stance, or would be interested in an experiment to see how things fared with us all on Pro's (outside of the main tour events... a special event). Seems like most on PGA, who are mainly PS4 players > PC > Xbox, aren't interested in that, which is fine. Truly, I do not want to play the game on easy... exactly the opposite, but I am interested in playing the game fairly, for the reasons in point a) and b) above alone. I'm all for the segregation of tours with Masters only on the pros, exactly as it is now - assuming that all systems behave equally, and the swing isn't retarded in regards to how it can be manipulated. I would bet my bottom dollar that if things had been the other way round and Xbox had the easier swing there would be just as much if not more of an outcry. It just seems like some people just don’t want to change the status quo. Conversely Les, why would the vast majority (PS4) want to diminish their enjoyment of the game just to appease the Xbox community? It’s all on HB to fix it in the end... sorta why I asked the question to test the water after prolonged exposure.

Everyone on pros-only is not needed.
Just have separate Masters/Pro/Beginner Clubs ladders if you want to separate clubsets. At the minute we kind of have three but it’s wishy-washy;
MASTERS CLUB LEAGUE -PGA TOUR -EUROPEAN TOUR -KORN FERRY TOUR
MASTERS & PRO CLUB LEAGUE -CCA down to CCZ
BEGINNERS CLUB LEAGUE -Just one tier
But what about the people that like to play against all clubsets? As personally I think the player that wins over all of the players is better than the player that wins over just masters club or just players club or just beginners clubs. Why water the leaderboard down into three when you can have one ULTIMATE leaderboard?
Masters Only 1st: -44 2nd -41 3rd: -37
Pros Only 1st: -45 2nd: -39 3rd: -38
Beginners Only 1st: -42 2nd: -40 3rd: -39
Which is the better leaderboard? A: None of them
All Clubsets 1st: -45 2nd: -44 3rd: -42
That’s the better leaderboard.
Personally, I’d much rather an ‘experiment’ be done with all clubsets allowed than pros-only. Be much more competitive throughout the tours.
The alternative is of course just making a full out pros-only league instead of the wishy-washy Masters and Pros League that is the Challenge Circuit and then have the same tier system (amount of players permitting) throughout the leagues...
MASTER CLUB LEAGUE -PGA TOUR -EUROPEAN TOUR -KORN FERRY TOUR -CHALLENGE CIRCUIT
PRO CLUBS LEAGUE -PGA TOUR -EUROPEAN TOUR -KORN FERRY TOUR -CHALLENGE CIRCUIT
BEGINNER CLUB LEAGUE -PGA TOUR -EUROPEAN TOUR -KORN FERRY TOUR -CHALLENGE CIRCUIT
