Whiterun (WCoD Entry - Updated and ported)

Update for 2k21 - Course is ported and ready for play. Some greens work on 2, 4, 9, 10, 12, 13 (complete overhaul), 16, and 17. Brutal 4th hole bulldozed on the right side for easier tee shot. Other minor sculpting tweaks. Cheers all, 8k plays on TCG19, I'm more than humbled. Ready to dive into 2k21!

My entry for the World Cup Of Design is live. Please enjoy a round at Whiterun. I am in a bracket of death and am among the newer designers in this thing so I don't expect to get out of the extremely heavy hitting Group C, but I enjoyed every second of making this course for the first 40 hours. The following 70+ (1,000? I lost count) not so much. I'm happy with end result regardless of how this rolls out. There are clear signs I still need work to catch up to the cream of the crop but I'm getting there. I mainly struggled with lighting and planting consistency. I also filled the plant meter, so there's my excuse for a pretty lame clubhouse.

Some pics I managed to crop off the Xbox screenshots. I reallllllllllllly need to get a PC for this. (Ugh I just saw the yellow dot on the main photo I have no idea how it got there and I'm too tired to fix it...)

Breathtaking looking course. Love that you can't just blast driver off the tee on every hole,got to think your way around.

Awesome course here. Absolutely loved the planting. Not too much, not too little. Just right for the feel of this course. Had to save that plant meter for all those falls haha

Also the 7th might be the best looking par 3 I’ve ever seen. Lighting couldn’t be more perfect. Stunning hole

Thank you, I'm getting a lot of heat for the tight tee shots. It's not an impatient game course which I totally get won't win everyone over.

LocoOnTheSoco, I played a round on Whiterun last night. What a superb vision you had designing this course. I loved every hole. Incredibly well done!
