West Forest Club has been ported as of last night. A few minor tweaks have been made to some greens and pin locations. The green speeds have also been lowered to about 162. I also changed the lighting just a tad to brighten it up only slightly but it will still have a very overcast feel to the course. Enjoy!
Designer note: if you play under medium winds you’ll get the sun to pop in and out of the clouds a few times which gives the course a totally different look in some places.

PLEASE enter a design contest! You’re too good not to give it a go if you’d enjoy the competition.

grovey31 Bump Love this one. Was actually at Swinley Forest yesterday and loved it so I thought I might as well give this another play. Super subtle but in such a good way and the course plays great. This actually reminded me a bit of New Zealand (in Surrey) with the bunkering and the subtle land movement (but definitely got the Morfontaine vibes). Great job!

Hey there, thanks man! This is actually one of my favorite courses I've done so I appreciate it. Pretty sick that you were on Swinley Forest btw... not too bad at all. And yeah, my inspiration came mostly from Morfontaine but I don't know anything about New Zealand. I just google earth'd it and it does look a lot like West Forest. Looks like I need to do some research now! haha
I just finished reading "The Spirit of St. Andrews" and Mackenzie talks about New Zealand more than a few times in the book so it must be worth a look!

I haven't played New Zealand personally, but I've heard it's a really cool heathland built on a very flat piece of land. Think there was a 1931 remodel by Tom Simpson there? Swinley was great btw

Just finished up my round and quite enjoyed it. The overcast setting produced some cool moments when the sun broke through.
I really enjoyed the green complexes, they’re easily the star of the show. The contours and tiers flowed very well, and they were both challenging and fair.

These might still be the best greens I’ve done on any of my courses so I’m happy you appreciated them as well. Good vibes!

One thing I forgot to mention - the second green really reminds me of the 12th at Swinley. Wild in so many spots - pictures cant do Swinley's 12th green justice. Dont know if that was an intentional nod but loved to see that second green pay homage to the real thing.
