Congratulations on the count back win hippysteinFantastic golf in R3 and R4. I used your ghost while my wheels fell off and you were playing some unreal stuff. Hippy failed to birdie 17 - isn’t it Jeff Day’s?

Countback is by hole from the 18th - so it will be Jeff's win via the 2 at 17 in R4

Congrats on the win Mr. Jeff Day. No "5's" on the card in the entire tournament. Well done!

Countback is by hole from the 18th - so it will be Jeff's win via the 2 at 17 in R4 I thought it was changed to be the final rd score as the first differentiator Oh well, WP Jeff and unlucky Scott off so... 56 56 finish to lose because a man birdied 17th is ridiculous, IMO.

I know in TGC2 it was from 18th. I lost 3 times that way. It was all to legends of the game at least. 🤷🏼♂️

Thanks for choosing my course this week. As usual with my designs there were a few groans lol. I only occasionally design with competitions in mind and do try and create original holes that don't always come off. This was full of quirks by design. Bunker on a green; two long par 5's in succession uphill/downhill. The idea with 16 was that you coudn't land the ball on green with the approach just judge the best landing spot short and let it roll out accordingly. The front pin was so tough to get to, that can be fun in a casual round but frustrating for a competition I bet. I admit 17 was a monstrosity. The idea was three convexed tiers something like that, was over the top. Anyway thanks for the feedback ill try and tone it down a bit next course!

Thanks Mark. I also thought the tie-break had been changed to R4 score. I agree though, it does seem a ridiculous way to settle things. I wouldn't say it feels a hollow victory- it just feels what it is.. a Tied 1st.
